Last we left off, our intrepid heroes had made it not only from Gath to Zood, but Zood to Zern, land of rust and ruin, where the Queen, the Empress of Ruin herself, flies her corroded mechanical head through the skies in command of Straka, the legendary bird of destruction. Fleeing as fast as you could with as many of your allies as you can gather in the wake of the destruction of the Zephyr, you made your way to this foundry, looking for a way to craft a vehicle capable of getting you the fuck out of dodge. Yes, for indeed, it seems as though the barrier between Zood and Zern, while still in existence, due to your successful efforts in the Temple of Katur, is permeable, that some vehicles seem able to move through it. Straka does not seem able to physically pass through, but to reach through perhaps, as though the claws of the massive bird reaching through the bars of a cage. Making your way all the way to the foundry, your job is to find a way to get out as the Naughtomata descend upon you, those heartless, mindless servants who in their mechanical un-life have had their service compelled by the Corrodi Primarch and their queen. You can see yourselves gathered here in this foundry, four crane arms and tons of junk. A treasure trove of potential toys back in Scrapsylvania, but plenty of stuff with a working crucible. A crucible perhaps capable of crafting a vehicle or indeed a bullet.
Synopsis[]
The crew battles dangerous conditions in the Foundry to build a mech while under siege from the Naughtomata. As they fight off robots, the crew starts to put pieces together to make a mech so they can escape. One notable robot is a big bell, that can ring and give all its allys and extra attack.
Once all the pieces are assembled they include: the cock pit, shields, legs, arms, and the Zood Quake. Marya pilots "the as-yet-unnamed mech" as they leave the Foundry.
