Aftward is a neighborhood in Leviathan that's home to a different kind of marketplace of banking and trading. It's located halfway between the marketplaces of Galleyard and the aristocratic seats of power in Poop City.

Description[]
This area is a little more well-to-do than other neighborhoods and is home to the changing houses and mercantile estates. It contains a lots of warehouses full of goods that are not merely bought for consumption, but for sale and resale. Large crates of these goods are constantly moving in and out of the warehouses, along with the large amounts of money associated with them.
Aftward's buildings follow a more classical design. It is home to the Row and the Ruction, where many political disputes are settled, and the brig, which is a giant tower of prison cells. This is where the Crescent Moon Trading Company does business.
History[]
Gorgug is fooled into thinking the Brig, a "cell tower", would help him get in contact with his girlfriend on the mainland.
Trivia[]
- In nautical terms, 'aftward' indicates the direction of towards the stern, or rear, of a boat. Aftward likely gets its name from it's location on Leviathan being closer to the back of the city (where Maelstrom's Maw is the front).
