Anastasia Tension is a reporter of renown in Mentopolis. She is played by Danielle Radford. She is a representation of The Big Guy's attention, her name is a play on this.
Description[]
A bespectacled woman with deep blue skin and electric hair. She wears the archetypal outfit of an old timey reporter with a trilby, a "flasher's trench coat", doily like turtleneck sweater and a skirt underneath. She doesn't have legs instead having a floating trail of electricity. She is outfitted with a notepad and pencil for recording clues and is always looking for a breakthrough case.

Anastasia Tension is a reporter for The Daily Observer, the paper of record for the city which functions as a newspaper office publishing the thoughts of the big man. She has been stuck in the backpages for a while and she believes her work on minor stories such as "too much earwax" and "we stubbed our toe, OUCH!" have been a waste of her talents and she is looking for a way to move up to bigger stories.
She works underneath Freddy Focus, who is her chief editor at The Daily Observer, who she is seen arguing with the right to take up a lead on this new case. Freddy doesn't want the big man to focus on his subconscious so is hesitant to allow A. Tension the ability to take this new lead. He puts her employment at the paper on the line if she fails, he is also said to have won a Pulitzer Prize for the earwax article she wrote.
