The Ravening War

Description[]
Camille is a cauliflower woman with cauliflower hair that curls on the sides of her head. She wears ceremonial robes, and wields a large staff. She is incredibly old and her cheeks sag her wrinkled face down. However, her appearance and hunched walk are, in fact, a ruse, as she is far more youthful than the image that she portrays. While she presents herself as 3 ft. tall to emphasize frailty, she is actually 5 1/2 ft.
History[]
The Seeds of Conflict[]
The archbishop arrives in Comida along with Bishop Belizabeth Brassica during the Festival of Saint Eggamere. The bishop and Archbishop are first introduced to the audience during the ball being held at the Cornucopian Hall: Camille goes into a coughing fit while attempting to greet those in attendence, thus making it necessary for Belizabeth to announce the greeting on her behalf.
Later, when Count Jacques Tomaté claims his right to the crown, Colliflour states that the laws set by teachings of the Bulb (to which Tomaté is staking his claim) are interpretive, and, furthermore, flawed due to the flaws of the people that write them. She states that, after confering with the Pontifax, Tomaté's claim to the Vegetanian throne aren't legitmate, and that House Cabbage is the rightful King of Vegetania instead.
Yonder Where the Fruit Do Be Lyin'[]
After the assassination of Queen Pamelia Rocks on the orders of the The Fellowship of Destiny's Architects, Colliflour is the first to reveal that she is a member of the secret organization. She explains to the shocked Scrumptious Scoundrels that the queen's death was essential for getting Candia involved in the Ravening War, and goes on to explain how doing so is in service to the real Truth of the universe: that of Sanctus Putris.
The Light and the Shadow[]
After the crowning of King Cabbage, Bishop Raphaniel Charlock requests and audience with the archbishop asking to know why he was made a pawn in the FDA's plans. She gently explains to him that the Church is merely a tool for the political machinations of the Bulb. Is it she and the FDA who know the real Truth (ie Sanctus Putris), and that Truth is higher than anything corporeal to the heretical and hedonistic people of Calorum. Raphaniel was not initally told of the FDA's intentions because he was not ready for it. Furthermore, he's still not fully ready for the enormity of the full Truth; of what lurks in the shadows beyond where the Bulb's Light can reach. One day, though, if he lives long enough, he might become ready, and might be worthy to join her in the holy work that she and the FDA do. After expressing his hope for her wishes, she excuses the bishop from her chambers.
The Heart of the World[]
The Scrumptious Scoundrels find Colliflour with the Heart of the World along with fellow FDA member, Senator Ariana Gemelli. Initially believing their plan to be to release rot onto the battlefields of Pangranos effecting the armies and leaders of all the nations gathered there (which is the majority of Calorum). However, it is revealed that Camille has plans beyond those of the Sanctus Putris, instead casting a ritual to bring her god of destruction, Deus-Pa'Zuul, into Calorum, ultimately becoming it's avatar. Her transformation involves shoulders ripping out of her robes, muscles bulging. She rises even taller, and metal blades shoot out from her fingertips. Where her mouth once was is an 8-foot hole leading into a void of nothingness circumferenced by layers of spiraling, grinding metal teeth. Furthermore, when she lifts her arms, the ground begins to shake, and similar voids of metal teeth rise up from earth, killing FDA member and Saprophian alike. After a fierce battle, she is ultimately struck down by Sir Colin Provolone as he pushes her avatar form into one of her own disposal voids.
