Neverafter

Description[]

The Big Bad Wolf is a large wolf who seeks to devour everything and everyone. He is the personification of death in The Neverafter.

Abilities[]

According to Mother Snorgelsson he has the power to change in shape and imitate others' voices.

Relationships[]

Baba Yaga[]

The Baba Yaga is not someone the Big Bad Wolf particularly likes. He offered to find her hut for the Destiny's Children to find. When they finally arrive, they find out that she had eaten the beast and turned him into a rug, in exchange for the witch to not move her hut until the group arrived.

Peter, the Baron of Bricks[]

Peter is the one pig of the three who survived the Wolf's attacks on their houses. In an attempt to destroy death, Peter attempts to boil the Wolf alive in a giant stew. This is ultimately thwarted by the Destiny's Children, and the Wolf is able to eat the last of the three little pigs.

Puss in Boots[]

When PiB comes back in his Twice Upon a Time life, he is given two daggers that are made of wolf's teeth. When he uses one of them to kill the inky hand construct of the Authors, he comes to realize the power of the daggers (and, in turn, who they are actually from). He and Little Red Riding Hood then hear the Wolf's voice say, "That's something we all have in common. People and stories comes to an end."

Ylfa Jottensdottir[]

The grandmother of Little Red Riding Hood The Wolf eats the old woman, and lies in her bed waiting for her granddaughter to arrive. When asked why he had killed her, the Wolf replies that it was simply "her time."

Ylfa Snorgelsson[]

When Ylfa strayed from the path, she met the Wolf. He asked her to eat him, and through this Ylfa gained her "gifts." He is a morally-grey mentor to Ylfa guiding her to the right path between worlds after she died. When Ylfa sees him as a rug at Baba Yaga's house, she wraps herself up in him, and goes to carry out her task, mourning that she had thought he would be safer.
