Brian "Murph" Murphy is a player in the Intrepid Heroes seasons of Dimension 20. He plays Riz Gukgak in Fantasy High and Dimension 20 LIVE, Kugrash in The Unsleeping City and The Unsleeping City: Chapter II, Cody Walsh in The Unsleeping City: Chapter II, Sir Theobold Gumbar in A Crown of Candy, and Big Barry Syx in A Starstruck Odyssey.

Career[]

Murph is best known for his time as a cast member and writer for CollegeHumor. He has made appearances in CollegeHumor shorts and series such as Jake and Amir and more recently, "Um, Actually", Adventuring Academy, and The Rank Room.

In addition to CollegeHumor, Murph has starred in many episodes of the TruTV series Adam Ruins Everything with Emily Axford. He and Emily created and starred in the POP TV show Hot Date. The also cowrote the book HEY, U UP? (For a Serious Relationship): How to Turn Your Booty Call into Your Emergency Contact.

Murph is also the Dungeon Master on Not Another DND Podcast.

Personal Life[]

Murph is married to Emily Axford. Together they own four cats, Bruce, Bowie, Cirilla and Griz as well as look after multiple 'outdoor cats' including Stevie and her litter. Brian is allergic to cats.

In Part 1 of the Dimension 20 Live Fireside Chat, it was revealed that the entire D20 cast are living in different rooms in Emily and Murph's eccentric mansion, which contains amongst others, a selection of bathrooms, a ballroom, an arts and crafts room, a basement, a sub-basement, and a 'book well'. In addition, he has confirmed that he is rather short at 6'12 tall.

Trivia[]

• Brian is the only member of the D20 cast to ever leave the table during a recording: during episode 10 of Fantasy High: Sophomore Year.
