Gnome Cunning | Race: Gnome | Cheese has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saves against magic. | Episode 2: The Daughter of Storms |
Arcane Recovery | Wizard Level 1 | Cheese has learned to regain some of his magical energy by studying your spellbook. Once per day when he finishes a short rest, he can choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half his wizard level (rounded up), so at level 5 cheese would regain a combined 3 levels of spell (e.g. 3 level 1 spells or 1 level 3 spell). | Never used |
Grim Harvest | School of Necromany Level 2 | Cheese technically has the ability to reap life energy from creatures he kills with his spells. Once per turn if he kills one or more creatures with a spell of 1st level or higher, he would regain hit points equal to twice the spell's level, or three times its level if the spell belongs to the School of Necromancy. He wouldn't gain this benefit for killing constructs or undead. | Never used |
Spells[]
Spell | Nickname | Spell Level | Source | Details | First Appearance |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Magic Missile | Sparkle Darts | 1st | Wizard | Cheese creates three glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of his choice that you can see within 120 feet. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you he direct them to hit one creature or several. | Episode 1: A Heaping Helping of Trouble |
Locate Object | The Waldo | 2nd | Wizard | Cheese describes or names an object that is familiar to him. He senses the direction to the object's location, as long as that object is within 1,000 feet of him. If the object is in motion, he knows the direction of its movement. The spell can locate a specific object known to Cheese, as long as he has seen it up close (within 30 feet) at least once. Alternatively, the spell can locate the nearest object of a particular kind. This spell can't locate an object if any thickness of lead, even a thin sheet, blocks a direct path between Cheese and the object. | Episode 1: A Heaping Helping of Trouble |
Invisibility | Ctrl Alt Delete | 2nd | Wizard | A creature Cheese touches becomes invisible until the spell ends (after 1 hour if concentration is maintained or until the target attacks or casts a spell). Anything the target is wearing or carrying is invisible as long as it is on the target's person. | Episode 1: A Heaping Helping of Trouble |
Message | Tickle Whisper | Cantrip | Wizard | Cheese points a finger toward a creature within 120 feet and whispers a message. The target (and only the target) hears the message and can reply in a whisper that only cheese can hear. He can cast this spell through solid objects if he is familiar with the target and knows it is beyond the barrier. Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood blocks the spell. The spell doesn't have to follow a straight line and can travel freely around corners or through openings. | Episode 3: Into The Sternwood |
Water breathing | Bibble Bobble | 3rd | Wizard | This spell grants up to ten willing creatures Cheese can see within 30 feet the ability to breathe underwater for 24 hours. Affected creatures also retain their normal mode of respiration. | Episode 3: Into The Sternwood |
Shatter | Bad Ear | 2nd | Wizard | A sudden loud ringing noise, painfully intense, erupts from a point of Cheese's choice within 60 feet. Each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 3d8 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature made of inorganic material such as stone, crystal, or metal has disadvantage on this saving throw. A nonmagical object that isn't being worn or carried also takes the damage if it's in the spell's area. | Episode 5: Scramble to the Ramble |
Fireball | Master Blaster | 3rd | Wizard | A bright streak flashes from Cheese's pointing finger to a point he chooses within 150 feet and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried. | Episode 6: The Horizon Beyond the Squall |
