Clash of the Corn Cuties is the second episode of season 1, Fantasy High.
Fabian, Kristen, Gorgug, Adaine, Riz, and Fig have their detention cut short when they must fight Doreen the lunch lady, her "Corn Cuties", and the Corn Ooze.

"We return to find our intrepid heroes here in the cafeteria of the Aguefort Adventuring Academy. Now, our band of adventurers, having just met in detention, all are now facing the Lunch Lady Doreen and a colossal-- not technically colossal D&D size, but, like, fuckin' big-- Corn Ooze, and a number of terrifying Corn Gremlins populate the space... You've all rushed into the cafeteria."
Synopsis[]
In the cafeteria, the party prepares to fight Lunch Lady Doreen, the Corn Gremlins, and the Corn Ooze. Fabian faceplants while attempting to vault onto a table. Doreen uses a spell to lock the cafeteria doors, trapping the party inside. Gorgug and Riz work together to kill one Corn Gremlin while Fig dodges an attack. She takes 3 damage from another Corn Gremlin as she runs toward Doreen and casts Dissonant Whispers on her. Fig realizes that Doreen isn't controlling the magic; the magic is controlling her. Corn Gremlins begin to emerge from the Corn Ooze's multiple butt-holes.
Fabian successfully vaults over a table to attack a Corn Gremlin and misses. Doreen attacks Fig and knocks her unconscious. Adaine hits the Corn Ooze with a Witch Bolt, severely wounding it. Gorgug sees a Corn Gremlin approach Fig and slices it in half. Riz takes out his gun and tries to shoot a Corn Gremlin but misses. Three Corn Gremlins approach Adaine and knock her unconscious.
Fabian uses his sword to skewer a Corn Gremlin as another one comes out of the Corn Ooze. Doreen attacks Kristen, but the spell rebounds and knocks Doreen unconscious. Gorgug smashes a Corn Gremlin while Riz shoots the Corn Ooze, barely injuring it. Riz hides under a table, causing the remaining Corn Gremlins to attack Kristen and Gorgug. Gorgug loses 4 health, but Kristen is able to dodge the attacks. Kristen escapes the circle of Corn Gremlins and revives Adaine.
In her unconscious state, Fig dreams about her father. She hears his voice and briefly speaks to him, but the dream quickly fades with the sound of a motorcycle revving and driving away. The remaining Bad Kids see Fig, still on the ground, with a big smile on her face.
Fabian attacks one of the Corn Ooze's butt-holes and injures it. Doreen wakes up and injures Fabian, but Adaine uses Mage Hand to take her magic ladle. Gorgug kills another Corn Gremlin while Riz deals 6 damage to the Corn Ooze. Riz, Gorgug, and Kristen are attacked by Corn Gremlins; Riz and Gorgug each lose 4 health and Kristen loses 3 health. Kristen stabilizes Fig, but she remains unconscious. The Corn Ooze, after multiple attempts, breaks through the door on the back wall of the cafeteria and enters the pantry.
After dodging an attack from the Corn Ooze, Fabian stabs it and deals 14 damage. Fabian feels that he has punctured something of a different consistency in the Corn Ooze with his rapier. Doreen attempts to jump onto a table but fails. Adaine hits her in the head with her ladle. Gorgug is attacked by a Corn Gremlin and loses 5 health. Riz jumps into one of the Corn Ooze's butt-holes and finds something that feels like a piece of paper. A few Corn Gremlins grab Fabian and lift him up over the Corn Ooze's gaping mouth. The Gremlins drop him and the Ooze swallows him whole, dealing 9 damage as it attempts to chew him up.
Doreen regains consciousness and Adaine hits her harder than she means to, breaking her jaw and knocking her unconscious for the third time. As soon as she does this, Adaine pukes and starts to have a panic attack. Gorgug slashes the Corn Ooze and, for a second, sees Fabian's face inside of it. Inside of the Corn Ooze, Riz goes to destroy the paper he found but hesitates when he considers that it might be a clue. He starts to suffocate and loses 4 health. Multiple Corn Gremlins attack Kristen and Gorgug, giving Kristen 4 damage and knocking Gorgug unconscious. Kristen attempts to rescue Riz but fails. The Corn Ooze starts to grab barrels of creamed corn, smashing them open and holding them over its head.
Fabian escapes from the inside of the Corn Ooze and reaches his hand inside of it to rescue Riz. As she's dying, Doreen tells Adaine that the faculty did this and that she shouldn't trust them. Adaine casts Friends on the Corn Ooze but fails to make it put down the barrels of corn. Riz attempts to grab Fabian's hand but is unable to reach it. Adaine is attacked by Corn Gremlins and loses 4 health. Kristen considers persuading the Corn Ooze, but realizes it might not have enough of a brain to be persuaded. Instead, she attempts to hit a Corn Gremlin and fails. In the pantry, the Corn Ooze begins to eat the creamed corn, growing bigger and healing its wounds.
Doreen fails her death-saving throws. Just before she dies, she tells Adaine that it's her responsibility to "make this right" because she is the one who killed her. Adaine casts Friends on one of the Corn Gremlins and convinces it to attack another Gremlin. Riz finally grabs Fabian's hand and is pulled out of the Corn Ooze, still holding onto the paper. Kristen investigates the piece of paper and finds runes of dark, powerful magic. Fabian is knocked unconscious by a Corn Gremlin.
Kristen tries to use her staff to destroy the parchment, but she falls on the floor and knocks herself unconscious. Adaine uses Mage Hand to grab the paper. Gorgug rolls a one on his death saving throw - double failure - and dies. Riz fires his gun at the parchment and destroys it. The Corn Gremlins disappear, the Corn Ooze dissolves into a puddle on the floor, and the cafeteria doors open.
Adaine uses Message and tells Mr. Gibbons to get to the cafeteria while Riz stabilizes Fabian. Adaine sends Mr. Gibbons to find help and Riz sprints into the hallway, searching for a cleric to revive Gorgug. Riz finds Principal Aguefort and they run back to the cafeteria. Adaine tries to stabilize Kristen, but is unsuccessful. Even with Principal Aguefort's help, Kristen dies.

Principal Aguefort surveys the room and rambles for a bit about the price of death, much to Riz and Adaine's chagrin. Eventually, he reaches into his coat and reveals the egg of the last phoenix. He warns Adaine and Riz of foul play at Aguefort and tells them that they are the only ones who can stop it. Finally, he shoots Mr. Gibbons in the head before killing himself. Gorgug and Kristen are revived and the entire party is at full health, surrounded by bodies and the wreckage of the battle.
