Conrad Schintz is a teeny tiny newsie in Mentopolis. He is played by Alex Song-Xia. He is a manifestation of conscience, his name is a play on that.
Description[]
A very small boy with a green cloudlike body and hair in brown newsies cap and ill-fitting newsies clothes, a large bag of news papers slung over his shoulder. Conrad is a quiet boy, who wants to make positive changes but is very shy and reserved in his methods and is often taken advantage of by people due to an unwillingness to stand up for himself.
Background[]
Conrad is a small child who lived at Madam Loathing's Home for Wayward Interests, however he escaped after a pair of ice skates he wanted were thrown out by Madame Loathing. During this time he met his best friend, an alley dog named Justin Fication and they began selling news papers together.
Conrad often posts very polite, easily removable messages to the Sugah's speakeasy asking the owner Daniel Fucks and the patrons of the establishment to stop pursuing illegal and excess pleasures, for this he has been branded as a nemesis by Daniel who often gets a kick in at him as he runs away.

Dan Fucks and Conrad are mortal enemies, according to Dan. Conrad disagrees with Daniel's lifestyle and the pleasure seeking behaviour he encourages, so each day Conrad leaves a handwritten note on Dan's club Sugah's asking potential customers to reconsider their life choices. Dan despises Conrad for this "vandalism," attacking him at every opportunity. Conrad allows him to get one kick in each time before escaping.
Justin Fication[]
Justin Fication is Conrad's best friend. He used to scrounge around the alley behind Madame Loathing's Home for Wayward Interests, where he met Conrad. When Conrad escaped, Justin came with him. He helps Conrad sell newspapers and encourages him to use his voice to spread his ideas to better Mentopolis instead of just changing which story is at the front of each newspaper.
