Cosmo was an NYPD officer, partner to Det. Jack Manhattan. At some point, Cosmo was gunned down. The LAPD believe the attack was done by the Belgian Mafia. The bullet casings have been in evidence for a year.
After Jack decided to go solo, Cosmo worked with a new partner who was even older than Barsimmeon Higgs, making him -- according to Cosmo -- way too old for this shit.
Description[]
Cosmo was the by the books cop to Jack's wildcard. When Paula sees a recording of him she gets the impression that her husband Don would have inhabited Cosmo if he was zapped into Never Stop Blowing Up.
Trivia[]
Cosmo's remark about his new partner's age references Danny Glover's Lethal Weapon character Roger Murtaugh and his catchphrase, "I'm too old for this shit."[1]
