Description[]

"I am everywhere. But where am I? Currently, in the central hall of the school. A cloud of smoke emanates from all the doors as the lights go low and the bright, brilliant spotlight illuminates the fountain. And from there, above, I descend wrapped in chains. My familiar, a dark raven, flies through the room and encircles me. And I hang there waiting for someone to notice." ― Noxweiler Berf

Personality[]

Dangerwolf is a stereotypical goth. His style of performing NAMP magic tricks, as opposed to using regular magic, making him very similar to Mindfreak Criss Angel. He is so enamored with the magician, he attempts to study with the Vegas showman, but his parents say no.

Appearance[]

Similar to his personality, Dangewolf's appearance is alo very similar to that of Criss Angel. For example, like Angel, he only wears a leather vest without a shirt, though this often chafes his sensitive nipples.

Background[]

As well as performing actual magic, Dangerwolf performs close up illusion magic tricks. The Darkhawks are Romanian, and spend every spring break visiting the country to see the ossuaries of the familial esteemed and noble dead. He has only seen one Marvel film: Black Widow, from which he learned the three-point landing.

History[]

Dangerwolf tells his parents that he wants to spend his spring break in Las Vegas studying under the Mindfreak magician and former Gowpenny student, Criss Angel. However, his mother sends him through owl carrier a speaking letter that rejects the plan, saying that Dangerwolf will not be studying that "false magic" under one she considers a "turncoat."

Relationships[]

Jesse[]

In his first appearance, Dangerwolf is hanging in chains in the central hall waiting for someone to notice him. The person who does is a first-year student named Jesse, who becomes increasingly weirded out by the goth, being unimpressed by his illusion magic, refusing to get Chip who would have the keys to the chains, and saying he gives off "stranger danger energy." When Jesse refuses to give his name, Darkhawk starts calling him "Rick." he finally gives his real name when Dangerwolf attempts a card trick that goes wrong, and instead makes the first-year think something bad has been done to his breakfast English muffin. To this, Dangerwolf replies, "Now I know," to which Jesse runs away. He overhears Dangerwolf listening to a letter to his mother, however. Since this saddens him, Jesse offers the half of his English muffin, which Darkhawk accepts since he skipped lunch. Creating a ladder of chairs, Jesse climbs them to feed the hanging boy. He then acknowledges that the whole exchange is very weird, tells Dangerwolf he hopes his house loses the Rivalry Week Scupper's game, slaps him, and yells, "Goat house!" as he finally runs off. Dangerwolf is so insulted by this that later on, he suggests the Magical Miscreants do magic so that the entire Chimeron House has to relive the year 2021.

Mordecai[]

Dangerwolf's familiar is one common to stereotypical goths, in that he is a raven. His name is Mordecai.

Sylvie Ecclentripe[]

The first time Sylvie is seen is after the prank from the Hercinil Trio against Aqrabus Tower. As she is helping to repair the damages, she offers a plan to get back at the "hero house" during Rivalry Week's big Scupper's match the next day. For her plan to work, she figures that she can provide the magic, while the Magical Miscreants provide the evil cover for what is happening. In understanding, Dangerwolf replies, "You're bringing the magic, and we're bringing the style." When Sylvie suggests/asks that they are all friends after a big heart-to-heart, Dangerwolf affirms by saying there's room for five on the Top Shelf (the Top Shelf being one of the nicknames of the Magical Misfits).

Trivia[]

  • In his research into becoming a NAMP-style magician, Dangerwolf has learned about the Eiffel Tower (since magicians tend to like making it appear out of thin air). He finds it rather disappointing, though very phallic.
  • He has grown very fond of the song Eye of the Tiger.
