Description[]
Dee wears beads in their hair and a school uniform with a skirt, but may not be comfortable with presenting so femininely. They also wear a little brown teddy bear backpack, which is just a teddy bear with straps on it.
History[]
Dee is first introduced as their class is on a school trip to Uncommon Knowledge, a secondhand bookstore in Harlem. Accompanied by a chaperone, they re-enter the store in search of a little teddy bear backpack they'd left behind. As the chaperone searches for it, Dee talks with Pete Conlan behind the counter, as they are fascinated at being in the presence of a queer adult. Pete asks their name and if they have any nicknames, which Dee answers, saying they'd always kind of liked the nickname "Dee". They momentarily catch sight of Luna, Pete's butterfly familiar, and Pete tells them that they can make their own reality by just introducing themselves as Dee. The chaperone finally finds the backpack, and Dee smiles and blows kisses to Pete as they leave the store.
