Description[]
Dupree is, understandably, a judgmental person, but knows and will appreciate talent when he sees it. He also wears glasses.
History[]
Broadway Brawl[]
Dupree is first introduced as an audience member sitting in the very front row at Midsummer Nights. At the appearance of the Juicy Cockroach, he shakes his head in disappointment. When Pete the Plug casts Erupting Earth and attacks the Seelie Dance Fighters with the floorboards, he's impressed that they didn't spare any of the special effects budget, but recommends they send the cockroach back to off-off-Broadway. He calls Sofia Bicicleta out when she repeats a line, but is endlessly delighted by Ricky Matsui's (luck-point-influenced) body roll, and although he was expecting the play to be violence-less, he's impressed by the fight choreography overall. When Ricky, butt-naked, flings the Seelie Crown across stage declaring Misty Moore the true faerie queen, he notes the risky choices in play, but applauds them nonetheless. His glasses shatter when Stephen Sondheim rides Kugrash, who has wild shaped into a bear, offstage.
Faeries and Feces[]
After the show, he applauds Perry LaFev, the director, for the show's success. He accepts the praise through gritted teeth.
