Dusty is an old-looking gnome who has a bit of a paunch and wears a trenchcoat. His eyes glow blue from something like a permanent Detect Magic. He smokes cigars. He's possibly thousands of years old, since the year 1112 is the last time he saw a phoenix egg.
History[]
When Riz Gukgak is hiding in the cafeteria after the battle with Doreen and the Corn Ooze in order to spy on Jace and Porter, he overhears Dusty talking to his mother, Sklonda, about the arcane magic that he senses. He tells her that it's not just arcane power, its pure divine magic. He tells her about the theory that some of the most powerful fiends are actually fallen angels.
