As the rogue teacher of Aguefort, Eugenia Shadow never teaches a class and instead leaves clues and puzzles around the campus for the rogue students to find her (thus very few students have ever seen her or know her name). If a student finds her, they ace all of their classes for that school year.
Eugenia is the granddaughter of the founder of the Society of Shadows.

Fig Faeth sneaks into the teacher's lounge and tries to steal a Tupperware container containing a transparent steak marked “Ghost steak, please do not eat, for a ghost professor,” meaning Eugenia, from the refrigerator in an attempt to get kicked out of school.

Jawbone O'Shaughnessey tells The Bad Kids that Eugenia was "found" by Kipperlilly Copperkettle at 8:01 AM of their junior year, effectively allowing Kipperlilly to ace junior year immediately and focus on campaigning for student body president.
Untapped Rage[]
The Bad Kids travel to Ashgrove after Riz finds out that Eugenia is buried there. Upon finding her gravestone, Riz finds Eugenia's ghost. She offers The Bad Kids weed, beer and bird tranquillisers and tells them how Kipperlilly found her at the beginning of Junior Year. She reveals that the reason she found Kipperlilly and not the other way around was because Kipperlilly attempted to dig up her body, forcing Eugenia to expose herself to her.
