Aabria: You square up against a dude that's from-
Evan: Okay, cool. Good, good, good.
Jammer: Hey, rock 'em, big fella.
Evan: You got it, man. Hey, you mess with the goat...
All: Get the horns!
Aabria: And the fine fellow from Rosemont that's staring across from you kind of speaks up like...
Rosemont Student: Did you do that because you are a demon like they say?
Evan: Oh, good, you speak English.
Rosemont Student: Mm, mm-hmm.
Evan: The next two minutes are gonna be really important for you.
[laughter]
Rosemont Student: What are you doing?
Evan: You have some really critical decisions to make. And the first decision that you should really consider is conceding prior to the match.
[laughter]
Rosemont Student: People are stopping. This is very weird, you're starting-
Evan: And I'm not gonna hold back. Those lunatics over there, the wizard Nazis?
Rosemont Student: Yeah.
Evan: They love my ass. They love me.
[laughter]
Rosemont Student: I find that very concerning. I don't enjoy being here.
Evan: You should be concerned. Here's the deal. You have probably about 90 seconds now to concede. And you really gotta think it through 'cause what's gonna happen is this. I can't guarantee what's gonna happen to you. There's no promise for your safety. There's no promise for anything like that-
Rosemont Student: I feel like you're psyching me out right now.
Evan: It's not psyching out. I'm doing the kindest thing I've ever done right now. About 60 seconds left.
Rosemont Student: Okay.
Evan: And you really should concede. If you're not gonna concede, what do you want me to tell your family?
[laughter]
Dream: God, he's so... DARK!
Jammer:Dream, you've gotta take your wand-
Aabria: Oh, my god. This poor boy takes a half step back. He's like...
Rosemont Student: Thank you, here's the thing. This is a very prestigious thing. There's money tied in it. It'd be a good result... I'm going to fight you. I don't want you to kill me, is all I'm saying.
Evan: I trust you. If you think that prestige is more important than walking out of here, then that's up to you.
[laughter]
Rosemont Student:But now I feel like you're talking...
Evan: Make the call. Make the call. Make it, 'cause I don't have all fucking day.
Aabria: And he grabs his wand and brandishes it. Describe for me what happens.
Brennan: This kid... Gets blasted into the underworld long enough to see his funeral, all of his weeping family members, to see the completely altered lives of the people he cares about as he throws his life away. And then after he has wrinkles around his eyes, and his hair has gone stark white, I wrench him back from the underworld and say,
Evan: For prestige? People care about you.
