Eyeless Crisis at Katur is the thirteenth episode of season 26, Cloudward, Ho!.

Last we left off, Intrepid Sea-roes! We were in the beautiful photosynthetic city of Oda where we met Rufus Radish and Totama Balbo and a bunch of other friends who helped us get a plant-based submersible that was grown in less than 24 hours from one of the massive engine orchard trees. And you have taken this to the bottom of the ocean to the sunken Temple of Katur, having seen an ancient statue of Comfrey MacLeod amongst the guardians of the temple, including some faces that bear some resemblance to Chapmans of old. We felt the presence of a being known to you, and in the mind of those: Finally Van has heard it. Tazgw'agwa, the being concealed within the temple here. And we found also, the old man from Tabira City, with the pterosaur Archie, is none other than Lord Kensington Cosgrove Mordecestershire. He of the Eyeless Hand, who now moves with knowledge granted from none other than the Queen of Zern, to come here and unleash the nameless god of ruin and destroy Zood forevermore.
Synopsis[]
Deep under the sea, a battle commences at the Temple of Katur. The crew fights to keep an eldritch threat, an octopus concealed in a portal against the cult of the eyeless hand lead by Lord Kensington Cosgrove Mordecestershire.
Pappy is the first person to exit the submersible. He sees the creature that attacked them – a giant crab, the Langostrum gargantanex. He shoots agents of the Eyeless Hand to shove them away from one of the beacons, and resists their attempts to paralyze him.
Max takes on the Langostrum gargantanex, hitting it with his brass knuckles. Max and Torse are paralyzed by agents of the Eyeless Hand, but Max is freed as the cultists that caused the paralysis take damage.
Olethra leaves the submersible in her mech. Her rage emits grease around her mech, hiding her from view. This causes several attacks aimed at her to miss.
Van understands how much she has missed the ocean, and joins Max in fighting the Langostrum gargantanex. She realizes that the gauntlet may actually be holding her back. As she swims deeper, she gets rid of it, and tentacles explode from her left arm. She also gains darkvision. She is briefly stunned until Marya helps her break it. However, she is surrounded by cultists immediately after and takes heavy damage from them. She is grappled and dragged toward the portal, but with Monty’s help, she manages to kill one and shove away the other.
Marya realizes she can’t fix the beacons by going to them. She then attacks Mordecestershire. An agent of the Eyeless Hand destroys her Goggles of Night. As darkness overtakes her, Marya sees Ludmila’s face blaming her for what happened to her protégé. She instantly slumps in defeat. Monty manages to snap her out of it. She then shoots Mordecestershire and her branding smite makes him glow before he dispels it.
When the submersible’s propulsion is fixed, Max attempts to pilot it, but empties its septic tank instead. He does manage to crush a cultist with the craft, however.
As one of the cultists runs toward the last beacon, Van hits him and causes him to stop. As the cultist attempts to disengage and kill himself to put out the last beacon, Van stops him once more, foiling the cultists’ backup plan as well.
Marya Vortex Warps Max to Mordecestershire. He manages to wrestle the knife from Mordecestershire and flees from him with it.
Olethra casts Haste on herself and activates her mech’s spring-loaded legs. Although she is grappled, Pappy shoots the cultist, letting her go free. She attempts to take the knife Mordecestershire is holding, but is not able to overpower him. Mordecestershire refers to her as “granddaughter”, and Olethra briefly thinks he is her grandfather. Olethra is hit with another psychic scream, but survives. Daisuke's air cord is severed, causing him to begin to drown. Despite this, he is able to fire a perfect shot on Mordecestershire. Before his air fully runs out, Olethra picks him up and takes him back to the submersible, and on the way, Daisuke manages to keep shooting their adversaries.
Marya realizes that they could power the beacons with something made from Zernian gold. Marya gets the final shots on Mordecestershire, killing him.
As the tentacle emerges from the portal, it severely damages Max. As a last resort, Van attempts to call her ancestors to her aid, but is unable to. She then releases a giant tentacle of her own. It pulls a cultist into the portal, killing him.
Our heroes emerged victorious, preventing the last beacon from going out and resealing Tazgw'agwa inside. As the tentacles, flared at the bottom with suction cups, float away, Torse places his golden heart into the center of the Odin submersible. Back on the submersible, Marya manages to relight all the beacons.
