These transmuted furniture beings have the appearance of normal objects with human appendages growing out of them. They are described as 'semi-sentient,' having enough consciousness to follow the Fairy Godmother's orders and to feel tremendous amounts of pain at their existence.

The Fairy Godmother gathered furniture from travellers, such as a chest full of gold that she emptied, and transmuted them into her loyal servants.
