Description

Fergus is a tan, freckly, yoked-up ginger dude about the same height as Whitney Jammer. Also like Jammer, he is an athlete. He wears the red robes of Hercinil.

History

The Chosen Ones

As the Magical Misfits stand in a weird circle in the middle of Vertiq Alley, they notice three other students form Gowpenny Academy of Arcane Arts watching them. The party walks over to greet them and they introduce themselves as Tallulah Jillymont, Fergus Ponst, and Digsby Cooper. Fergus nods at Whitney Jammer in acknowledgement of them both being athletes.

Although she is immediately condescending, Tallulah offers help or advice should the group need it, and Jammer asks if there's any McDonald's. Tallulah turns to Fergus, who is just as confused as she is, until Digsby steps forward and explains that he used to be a Namp as well. He informs them that there are no McDonald's, but recommends the Knave's Navel if they're hungry as British food is much better than fast food.

When Dream impresses Tallulah with her seemingly insider knowledge of their magical school, and Tallulah agrees to mentor her should she make it into Hercinil house, Fergus looks over at Sam Black and tells her he hopes to see her in Hercinil as well.

Trivia

• He is most likely meant to mirror Ron Weasley, who was a red-headed boy with freckles. While Ron was more lanky in build than Fergus is described to be, Ron was still an aspiring athlete who earns his place on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in his sixth year.
