Synopsis[]
On the battlefield, Liam Wilhemina, having just killed Plumbeline Uvano and taken her chariot, commands his archers to attack the Vegetanians. Theobald turns to Limey and instructs him to have The Knights of North-Gumbia defend and aid Liam's unit before jumping into the chariot with Liam. Sir Keradin Deeproot and his paladin cavalry advance upon them. Amethar Rocks and Joren Jawbreaker join forces to draw out and attack Constano Grissini with their accompanying forces battling around them. Liam yells to Sir Keradin that neither the Bulb nor the Hungry care about or consider him and something in Sir Keradin breaks. The trebuchets firing upon the ballistae on the castle wall and gate. Ruby Rocks rushes to the battle in the middle of the field taking a shot in the dark at Sir Keradin. Joren attacks Grissini as the Jawbreaker unit get between the Ceresian infantry and archers with another infantry following after them. Grissini's men close in around Amethar and Joren to attack. A Ceresian cavalry flanks Jawbreakers unit.
On the castle wall Ceresian archers take aim and fire upon a trapped House Rocks cavalry finishing them off. Saccharina Frostwhip flies Cinnamon along the wall causing mass casualties before flying to the battlefield and burning half the paladin cavalry to death. Keradin survives the blast. Fructeran archers on the wall fire upon Cinnamon. Liam hops out of the chariot, casts hunter's mark on Keradin, and disguises himself as him before hiding in the shadows. Theobald sends a meep running through remaining paladins. Close by the Knights of North-Gumbia fight a Vegetanian cavalry and Ruby's unit moving through them to join in the attack leaving them close to destruction.
Back near the Bulbian Church, Amethar knocks Grissini to the ground before driving his sword through is chest. By the time Amethar pulls Payment Day from Grissini's body and stands, all of Grissini's unit and men are dead and standing on the top of the hill is the most massive force of Candian soldiers that have fought in front of Castle Candy in a generation. Ceresian archers and cavalry attack Jawbreaker and his unit leaving them badly injured. Joren Jawbreaker and unit look to Amethar ready to charge the castle only to be shot in the throat by an arrow and he falls to the ground. Half of his infantry have been killed as Fructeran archers from the wall fire upon them.
Keradin Deeproot goes to attack Cinnamon only to be struck by a crisis of faith once again as he swings and misses before collapsing onto the ground. Keradin’s cavalry closes in on them and the Vegetanian infantry turns to face Theobald. Theobald squares up with Castle Candy to his back and takes all the infantry’s hits as a one-man army. The paladin cavalry and Ceresian archers on the wall attack Cinnamon. Sir Theobald takes on hit for his queen. Saccharina and Cinnamon fly toward over the Vegetanian infantry and freezes them in their place, killing them instantly. The badly injured Cinnamon then flies low towards Castle Candy to hide from enemy fire.
Cumulous Rocks and his band of marauders and monks slaughter the Meat Lander mercenaries and advance through Dulcington towards the river. Left behind, the House Rock archers slowly march through Dulcington. The mercenary's dogs flee. Cumulous and his unit cross the river, plow through the haystack, and keep moving towards the Vegetanian infantry. Liam appears, shoots arrows at Keradin, and hides back in the shadows. Theobald squares up on Keradin and engages in mortal combat. The Knights of North Gumbia seeing their champion strike Sir Keradin, flank the last of the Vegetanian calvary and destroy them.
Amethar's unit pushes towards the Ceresian calvary with the House Rock archers following behind to attack the archers on the ground. The last Vegetanian calvary moves to attack Ruby’s unit. After taking damage they hide and fall in behind the Knights of North-Gumbia heading towards the castle. The battering ram move forward towards them. With Jawbreaker on death's door, both House Jawbreaker infantries charge in his name and slaughter the Ceresian calvary. Fructeran archers fire upon them and whip out one unit.
All the paladins of The Bulbian Church surround Theobald to attack but he is able to shield himself. Cumulous’ unit of marauders and monks close with the Bulbian paladins and attack. Crossbow archers on the castle wall fire down upon Cinnamon. The trebuchets fire upon the archers on the gate house hitting them and leaving them close to death. Saccharina casts a powerful cure wounds on Cinnamon and then they fly up to the ballista finishing it off and taking coverage in tallest tower on the wall.
Back in the battlefield, Liam appear in front of Sir Keradin and tells him about how his life has been a lie before shooting and killing him. As Keradin is iced and the remaining unburned paladins watch as Liam, still disguised as Keradin, pick up Keradin’s body and walk away, Theobald attacks as a one-man unit and the paladins are rent asunder. The Knights of North-Gumbia move towards the gate with the battering ram.
Amethar leaves his unit instructing them to follow Ruby. He then takes command of Jawbreaker's remaining force to recklessly attack the Fructeran archers on the ground. One trebuchet fire upon the Fructeran archers. Another fires upon the castle wall archers taking them out and demolishing the gatehouse. Ruby’s unit hides along the castle wall underneath Fructeran soldiers. The last Ceresian force lead by Imperator Ciabatta musters just outside the castle gate and are unable to see Ruby’s unit hiding next to them at the wall.
The Fructeran archers on the wall fire upon Amethar and the House Jawbreaker unit dealing a casualty. Saccharina’s marauders follow the order’s lead as they throw spinning ropes of cotton candy light and they all fly up to the castle wall. They land and slaughter the Fructeran archers. Cinnamon flies Saccharina down to cast cone of cold on Ciabatta’s unit wasting them. With only Ciabatta left standing at the gate, Cinnamon breaths fire upon him, leaving him badly injured, before they fly back to safety.
Liam spots the Pontifex in the castle and vanishes inside still carrying Keradin’s body. Theobald regroups with his knights and advance upon the castle gate with the battering ram. The Jawbreakers unit lead by Amethar wast the archers in front of them. With a clear view to the castle, Amethar sees Calroy Cruller running along the castle wall. Amethar breaks from his unit and charges towards him.
White flags of surrender begin to fly upon around the castle. Ruby unsheathes her water steel dagger while walking up to Ciabatta before stabbing him the back and killing him. The marauders and monks storm the castle slaughtering people as they go. Liam darts through the castle and emerges from the shadows, crossbow trained on the Pontifex Belizabeth Brassica. He shoots her and she tumbles over the ledge with the book of Saint Citrina Rocks. Liam throws Keradin’s body over the ledge to land on top of her before grabbing the book out of the air and vanishing back into the castle. Theo and his knights advance with the battering ram into the castle. Amethar ascends the castle wall with the help of Ruby's rogue unit to find Calroy Cruller heading for a secret exit only to have his path blocked by Cumulous. Amethar approaches. Calroy gets one attack in before Amethar slices him perfectly in half.
The siege of Castle Candy is successful. Ruby and Saccharina make eye contact across the field and hesitate as they remember the violence and betrayals they have seen in each other before choosing to understand each other. Ruby messages Saccharina telling her she cannot be her subject but does want to be her sister. Saccharina accepts and tells Swifty, Gooey, and Jon Bon to get the feast ready. Caramelinda Rocks messages Ruby that she is missing her chance to save Candia's future. Ruby tells her she isn't, she is choosing to be Saccharina's family and trusting that they can change together.
Amethar walks to the courtyard and sees the liberated servants and his daughters standing together. Liam brings the Book of Saint Citrina to Saccharina who asks Amethar to place his hand on it. Amethar does and is asked if he wants to be king and admits that he does but doesn't feel worthy. Saccharina wants to wait before they decide to do anything about the throne. Theo appears and interrupts them to point out that with the book, they can prove that not only do they have the throne of Candia but they can also prove that Amethar is the Emperor of the Concord and reestablish the Concord.
Amethar places his hand back on the book and states that "Gustavo Uvano named me the Emperor of the Concord.” Primsy Coldbottle form the rubble says that the Dairy Islands recognize his claim on the book to be true and that missives will be sent to whoever is now in charge of the other nations in the Concord after the battle.
Cumulous asks Liam what is glowing in his pocket. Liam without hesitation eats the seed from Lapin Cadbury. He thinks of the change he most wants to see in the world and wishes that the creativity and magic of Candia would burst forth, and instantly Candia quadruples in size within its place on the Calorum map. Saccharina thanks Liam as the new queen of a lot more Candian land and Amethar worries as the new emperor about the political nightmare Liam has created for him. Far off Liam hears Lapin chucking and closing the door of the final structure. Lapin whispers to Liam on his way out, “There is nothing wrong with being a seed guy.” He calls for Peppermint Preston and with one final kiss on Liam’s cheek, they exit reality and their magic fades.
A new age of Candia is born and the only rival to the feasting in Candia is the feasting in Comida as Emperor Amethar of the House Rocks embraces his new title and brings a new age of peace to the realms. New heads of state send word of apology for their ignorance and thanks for their actions. The Order of the Spinning Star's ranks swell as new magic is discovered. Theobald and his knights proudly serve their queen. Liam brings the Pontifex and Sir Keradin back to life in an act of mercy and locks them in prison for the rest of their lives. He leaves them, and goes back to being a seed guy.
Amethar wanders the halls of Castle Candy reminiscing about his youth with Saccharina and Ruby with him. Saccharina tries to find Cinnamon an alteranative food source to Bulbian hearts, looking all through Vegetania before returning to Candia. Just outside the castle, a tinfoil tree grows and a cranky Cinnamon eats the fruit from the tree and then grows gentle, regarding the world with love instead of hunger.
Ruby stays with Saccharina at Castle Candy to give her the sister she never had and act as her advisor. One day a flier is given to her that states the Traveling Swirler Sisters are coming to town and Ruby joins them. After such sadness in their lands, the people are brought nothing but joy as Ruby flies through the air in the bright colors of the circus.

Trivia[]
- When Liam Wilheilmina faced off against Sir Keradin Deeproot, Ally Beardsley rolled a Natural 20 Intimidation, adding yet another instance of them rolling Natural 20's in key moments of the Finale.
- In the stand off moment between Princess Ruby Rocks and Queen Saccharina of House Frostwhip, Siobhan Thompson jokingly said that for Ruby, it wouldn't have been strategic to attack Saccharina in the middle of an open battlefield where people could see. Siobhan also joked and said that if she did actually choose to attack Saccharina, it may have been the end of her real-life friendship with Emily Axford. Siobhan believed that if Ruby wasn't surrounded by witnesses, she would have tried to have a conversation with Saccharina before attempting to fight her.[1]
- In the Adventuring Party episode "The Wild Childs", the cast revealed what they would have done if Princess Ruby Rocks and/or Queen Saccharina had chosen to fight each other:[2]
- Zac Oyama said that Cumulous Rocks would have sided with Saccharina.
- Lou Wilson said that if Ruby attacked Saccharina first, Amethar would have tried to stop Ruby from fighting and then try to initiate dialogue. If Saccharina had attacked Ruby first, Amethar would have killed Cinnamon first then try to initiate dialogue. If dialogue wasn't possible, then Amethar would have gone to kill Saccharina, Cumulous , Liam Wilheilmina, and Sir Theobald Gumbar in that order. Lou was confident that once he got rid of Saccharina, he could outlast the physical attackers and kill a few people until Amethar died.
- Brennan Lee Mulligan said that if either Ruby or Saccharina attacked with the intention to kill, he would have allowed Amethar to sacrifice himself to stop the fighting.
