Fantasy High: Junior Year

Description[]

She is described as a looking like a beautiful elven woman, with a gown of deep blue flecked with silver, and a medallion of the moon around her neck.

When she is angry she has been seen to display werewolf features, such as yellow eyes and fangs, and once a full wolf's head.

History[]

Galicaea had been worshiped by high elven clerics since before the Last Great Sylvan War, around 900 years ago. In an attempt to gain power and expand her church, her clerics at that time encouraged the followers of the Goddess of Mystery, her sister, to destroy the name of their goddess and anything known about her through a council and a ritual act of divining magic.

Galicaea is now seemingly at war with herself. She takes the form of a beautiful high elf and seems serene and noble because she is worshiped primarily by the high elves of Fallinel and this is the image they have created of her. However, she is also worshiped by werewolves like Tracker so her wilder, primal side still exists, but she tries to keep it hidden because the version that the high elves have created hates that part of her.

Fantasy High Sophmore Year[]

Kristen Applebees met Galicaea in the plane of Elysium when after being killed by the skeleton of The Great Unicorn. She was seated next to Sol, the sun god, in a chair of silver birch, surrounded by silvery white plant life. She walked with Kristen, and made her an offer that if she no longer wanted to worship Helio, she could reject doubt, devote herself to Galicaea and remain a Life Domain Cleric. When Kristen asked about the Goddess of Mystery, Galicaea lied and said that the goddess had told her own followers to destroy her name to make her more mysterious but that the Nightmare King killed her before she could complete the task. Kristen rejects her offer and reaches out to the Unnamed Goddess, and Galicaea becomes aggressive, taking on her wolf form and piercing Kristen's shoulder with her claws.

Fantasy High Junior Year[]

After the end of Sophmore Year, after being exposed to the negative interpretations of her Goddess from Fallinel's Elves, Tracker travelled to Fallinel and started the Wolfsong Revival movement in an attempt to reshape the perception, and thus the existence of Galicaea. This Movement has thus far seen massive success, especially after gaining the support of Princess Nara, a High elf princess from a long line of Clerics of Galicaea.

Trivia[]

  • During Cool Kids, Cold Case, Tracker proclaims to be a cleric of Lida, goddess of the moon. It is unknown if this was intended to be alternative name or a retcon from Brennan.
