Gorbag is the biological father of Gorgug Thistlespring. He and his human girlfriend, Roz, had Gorgug when they were about fourteen years of age.

Being so young, Roz and Gorbag were afraid that they would be unable to properly take care of the half-orc child, so they left the infant Gorgug at the care of Wilma and Digby Thistlespring, who have raised Gorgug for another fourteen years, until Episode 17, where we find out that Gorbag and Roz have been living in the Dune Fort, and have decided to go back to Elmville to look for their son.
As stated in Episode 17, Gorbag has been asking multiple people per day if they were his son. Branching from a running joke in the campaign where whenever Gorgug rolls poor insight (or even when he rolls high insight which includes the instance with an Elmville cop and Sklonda Gukgak,) he often asks others if they are his dad. It was also revealed that Gorbag asked a vulture if he was his son as he states "it doesn't hurt to ask," which is a nod to the vulture joke in Episode 8. He is also stated to have joined Fig's band alongside his wife Roz, Gorthalax and Gorgug. In Sophomores Start, Gorgug is reminded on a low insight role that Gorbag is his father.
Trivia[]
- Gorbag mentions that he was one of Porter Cliffbreaker's students and that Porter almost failed him, meaning that at one point he went to the Aguefort Adventuring Academy. However, since he implies that he moved away from Elmville at around 14, it is unknown whether he ever graduated from Aguefort.
