The Gramercy Occult Society is a group of wizards in the Unsleeping City, who manage the Umbral Arcana, an abjurative field of magic within New York City which hides the Unsleeping City from the Waking World. It was lead by the Archmage Alejandro Ortiz, and taken over by Esther Sinclair after the fight in Times Squaremageddon Pt. 2.
The headquarters of the Gramercy Occult Society is an upside down library where the gravity is reversed, hidden under the New York Public Library and guarded by the stone lions, Orlando and Rovias. It can be entered through a secret door, set diagonally into the stone steps and leading down, twisting and changing gravity.
There are chantries throughout New York City, including the one in Clinton Hill.
