Hallariel Seacaster (née Lomenelda) is the high elf mother of Fabian Seacaster and the greatest fencer in the world. She was married to William Seacaster, but has started dating Gilear Faeth since the formers death.

Description[]
Hallariel is a beautiful high elf with long, flowing hair. She typically wears silk garments and kimonos decorated with flowers which are woven by dwarves. She looks to be in her early 20s, even though she's about 200 years old. She wields a whip-thin silver elven sword and uses daggers.
She loves her son and spoils him with affection. She appears to have a laid-back approach to parenting and greatly enjoyed the taste of wine, even at 9:30 in the morning, before she went sober. She used to spend a lot of time drunk on wine in her sensory deprivation egg in the basement of Seacaster Manor, until the death of her husband. Now, she pushes her son to improve his combat skills even more than her husband did.
Freshman Year[]
The Beginning Begins[]
During Fabian's introduction in The Beginning Begins, Hallariel's lounging on the patio nursing a goblet of wine as she observes her son fence. She compliments her son and urges his instructor, Herzon, to go easy on him and let him win.
When The Bad Kids visit the Seacaster Manor, Hallariel is very impressed with Adaine Abernant when she speaks high-elvish to her.
Family in Flames[]
When Seacaster manor is attacked, Fabian Seacaster chose to save his mother first. During the whole battle, Hallariel had been in her sensory deprivation pod, not hearing a thing, being protected by her maid Cathilda. Fabian yells at his mother for being so out of it and knocks her wine out of her hand. She is last seen going towards her light rapier.
Later, it is revealed that William Seacaster didn't just marry Hallariel for her looks but for her high skill in fencing, telling him that she is the greatest fencer who has ever lived. She was the one who took out William Seacaster's eye, and he dropped to one knee and proposed marriage on the spot.
At William Seacaster's funeral, Hallariel looks terrible, dressed in black sweatpants, a black peacoat, and nursing a cup of coffee. She tells Fabian that she hasn't been sober in fifteen years, and that tomorrow she'll start Fabian's fencing training. She seems to be attracted to the sad sap of an elf Gilear Faeth and was very impressed that he is Vice Principal of Fabian's school. Fabian threatens Gilear and tells Hallariel not to go for him, but she threatens Fabian as well. She tells Fabian that she will duel him to the death on the roof of Seacaster manor if Gilear doesn't come back alive.
Fantasy High LIVE in Brooklyn[]
Hallariel coaches her son, Fabian, from the sidelines as he spars against Cathilda. He hopes to impress her so that he can convince her to stop dating Gilear Faeth, but she is very strict and direct in her instructions, and Fabian complains. Hallariel argues back, telling him that the elven soldiers and arch mages that are keeping Aelwyn Abernant imprisoned won't go easy on him. She leaves them, telling Cathilda he's earned half a ration of kippers. Seeing as she's never been in the kitchen and doesn't know how much that is exactly, Cathilda promises to get him a full ration.
Sophomore Year[]
After the Bad Kids have rescued Adaine and her sister from Calethriel Tower, Hallariel turns up in Kei Lumennura. She dances with her son and father, and ultimately says that she's come to retrieve Cathilda, as she's eaten all of Gilear's yogurt and run out of food.
Junior Year[]
After the the Bad Kids return from sealing the Night Yorb over summer vacation, Fabian returns to Seacaster Manor just in time to find Hallariel and Gilear getting ready to leave for a trip. In an unusual bout of good luck, Gilear had won a cruise trip in a raffle and the two of them decided to take it as opportunity to go on an extended honeymoon after finally getting engaged. Before she and Gilear left, she gave Fabian full run of Seacaster Manor while they were gone and told him "You better not throw any parties while we're gone!" with a wink.
