Neverafter

Background[]

When they were younger, Henry and Timothy settled in Pottingham where they raised their son, Jack. Like his husband, Henry is also a witch.

History[]

The Times of Shadow[]

At some point, Jack acquires a golden goose egg, which he claimed to simply have found. Shortly after, he acquires a large amount of money, which the two husbands assume he had gotten from selling powders, tinctures, or elixirs.

One day, Timothy comes home, clutching a small pile of bones and proclaiming, "This is Jack." He then explains how he saw Jack die, and his subsequent precarious actions with the Gander. While Tim is trying to figure out how to save Jack with the book he is given, Henry frantically gathers magic books from around the house in an attempt to find answers.

The Trials of Baba Yaga[]

Henry is somewhat forced to stay behind to keep the Baba Yaga company while the others carry out her trials. After they are completed, Henry having reunited with his son, he decides to stay behind to nurse the boy back to health.

Relationships[]

Baba Yaga[]

While he attempts to help his husband with the task Baba Yaga has given him, the great witch holds him back, insisting that she'd prefer his company instead. As a courtesy, he is willing to eat some of the witch's dinner stew, despite knowing that it's mostly made of piss.

Jack, the Giant-Slayer[]

During the battle in the Land of Giants, Jack reveals to Timothy Goose that he is the "second giant" who came there claiming to be Jack's father. Tim immediately realizes that his husband, Henry, must also be there in the Land of Giants. Henry later explains that aportion of a story was added to the portion of the Neverafter the group was currently in, with Henry being put in a world with the most dangerous version Jack that could be found. In that story, Jack kidnaps Henry, which is what happened.

Jack Hubbard-Goose[]

Henry and Timothy both care very deeply for their son. Henry does as much as he can to help Timothy work out the book to save Jack when he is killed. When Puss in Boots finds Jack and brings him back to his parents, Timothy, Henry, and Jack are then able to have a heart to heart, Jack apologizing for his actions, and Tim and Henry telling him how proud they are of him, and that there's nothing he can do to make them not love him.

Mother Timothy Goose[]
