Highcourt is a religious nation that worships Sol, god of the Sun. Just before and during the events of Freshman Year, there are a lot of Harvestmen or religious fundamentalists in Highcourt.
After the Bad Kids reveal Coach Daybreak's plan and defeat him, Sklonda describes Highcourt as being "in a politically kind of unstable place". So much so, that she considers asking the Fallinel ambassador, Angwyn Abernant for help with Elven mediation.
History[]
Long ago, Highcourt's royal family was connected through blood and marriage to the now defunct monarchy of Solace. At some point, Highcourt was conquered by Kalvaxus.[2]
After Kalvaxus was defeated, a peace treaty was made between Solace and Highcourt. Part of this treaty said that anyone seeking citizenship within Solace is given total amnesty, and all their past crimes are forgiven. Also as part of the treaty was that the soul of any chosen of the Sun God would never occur on Solisian soil.
