Jawbone is a human with lycanthropy who chooses to live in a hybrid half-human, half-werewolf form as a political statement.
In Fantasy High LIVE in Brooklyn, he wears his usual cardigan, as well as a t-shirt Adaine got him with the image of a werewolf clawing through the shirt saying "Caring rules!" He also wears a pride pin.
Freshman Year[]
Brawl at the Black Pit[]
In the rage created by DJ Brainzz, Jawbone attacked Adaine as she attempted to move away from him and nearly infected her with lycanthropy as well. When the music stopped, he apologized profusely and tried to excuse his behavior by explaining his illness. Adaine berated him and told him he should see a healer about it, but Jawbone informed her that he has no healthcare.

Riz offered the option of applying for one of the open positions at Aguefort, and Jawbone happily took the idea. He is seen two days later in Vice-Principal Goldenhoard's office having just been accepted for the position of Guidance Counselor. He declares his commitment to hit the books to learn how to do the best he can at his new job.
According to Gilear, Jawbone is a very successful guidance counselor, helping many kids get recommendations for college and getting kids to try both medication and therapy for the first time.
In Episode 11, he helps Ragh work through his feelings for Dayne. He is also revealed to be Tracker's uncle in this episode.

After the destruction of the Abernant Home and Adaine's subsequent abandonment by her family, Adaine begins living with Tracker and Jawbone.
Jawbone takes part in the final battle against Vice-Principal Goldenhoard/Kalvaxus, helping Adaine work through her anxiety by providing her with medication and at one point jumping down Kalvaxus' throat to "see if [he] can plug the fire up."
In the epilogue of Fantasy High, it is revealed that Jawbone ends up in a romantic relationship with Sandra Lynn Faeth, Fig's mother.

After freshman year, it is revealed that Jawbone has become the legal guardian of both Kristen Applebees and Adaine Abernant. They all live together in Jawbone's apartment in Strongtower Luxury Apartments. On the first day of sophomore year, when Adaine is avoiding calls from elven ambassadors asking her to come to Fallinel, Jawbone comes to her room to offer her pancakes for breakfast. She uses it as an excuse to hang up.
When Adaine receives a prophecy about Aguefort Adventuring Academy and a Goliath student, Jawbone tells her about Hargis, a theater student at the school. He asks Adaine to knock on Tracker's door on her way down the hallway, both she and Kristen are there, and they head off to the school together.
Fantasy High: Sophomore Year[]
During spring break of the Bad Kids' sophomore year, he and Sandra Lynn buy a house, Mordred Manor, and move in with Fig, Adaine, Tracker, and Kristen.
After learning that Sandra Lynn cheated on him with Garthy O'Brien, Jawbone and Sandra Lynn had a conversation. Sandra Lynn requests that they break up. However, the two are back together once Sandra Lynn and the Bad Kids return home.
Jawbone offers to adopt Adaine, but leaves the choice to her. He is very sympathetic to her plight and says she is an easy kid to love.
