"Call me 'Jer-Bear'." ― Jeremy to Lord Squak Airavis
Jeremy Renner is the actual Jeremy Renner as known from Marvel Movies. He is one of the actors that Lord Squak Airavis was auditioning to play the lead role in the film adaptation of The Green Hunter. Hob thinks he is right for the part. He is, after all, already good at using a bow.
Background[]
History[]
You Will Never Know a Lonely Day Again[]
Squak uses one of his denoument scenes to talk to Jeremy Renner, who he finds on the stage, screaming. (apparently he had been left on the stage and no-one came to collect him when the world was ending, to which Squak explained "this is fey-dom, people jump into each other's dreams and eat eachother's hearts. Crazy Shit like that is happening all the time". Jeremy responds that he's not going to think about that, or he'll lose his mind) Squak calms him down, and Jeremy comments "you are reminiscent of a bird", and confirms he was not kidnapped, he's just always wanted to do theatre, and he loved the script. Squak reveals himself and asks him to be in the movie version. and Jeremy replies that he received a threatening fey letter that yelled at him with a mouth he could only see in his heart to not take the film opportunity, but says yes anyway. He asks Squak to call him Jer Bear.
Squak tells Jeremy that he would invite him over, but he's staying at a friend's place. He invites Jeremy Renner out for a coffee at a hypothetical future date to "talk about how gritty and nasty the city is". He claps Squak mid-tricep, and agrees. He asks Squak how to leave, and Squak jokes "you need to kiss me, and then you jump through that portal". Jeremy then kisses him, before leaving. Squak admits he is glad he left, because otherwise he would've fallen in love and accidentally won the wager (negating their bet against themselves).
Relationships[]
Lord Squak Airavis[]
Squak wants Jeremy to play the lead in his book The Green Hunter, as opposed to Michael B. Jordan or Dev Patel, because he prefers box office cash to an Oscar. Jeremy being stuck in the Feywild was part of the reason Squak was so willing to involve himself in the plan to stop Prince Apollo from closing the portal to The Material Plane.
Lady Chirp Featherfowl[]
Chirp is thoroughly upset when she realizes that Squak has written "a Renner vehicle" and she is very against his involvement in the film. To prevent this from happening, she writes a letter to him impersonating his agent saying; "Dearest Jeremy Renner, You need to take a couple years off, my man. You're in too much! Sincerely, Whatever your agent's name is."
