Rage | Barbarian Level 1 | In battle, Amethar fights with primal ferocity. On his turn, he can enter a rage as a bonus action. While raging, he gains the following benefits if he isn't wearing heavy armor: he has advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws; when he makes a melee weapon attack using Strength he gains a +2 bonus to the damage roll; he has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. His rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if he is knocked unconscious or if his turn ends and he hasn’t attacked a hostile creature since his last turn or taken damage since then. He can also end his rage on his turn as a bonus action. | Episode 2: Ambush on the Sucrosi Road |
Storm Aura | Barbarian: Path of the Storm Herald Level 3 | Amethar emanates a stormy, magical aura while he rages. The aura extends 10 feet in every direction, but not through total cover. His aura has an effect that activates when he enters his rage, and he can activate the effect again on each of his turns as a bonus action. Amethar has a desert aura which causes all other creatures in his aura to take 2 fire damage each. The damage increased to 3 at 5th level. | Episode 2: Ambush on the Sucrosi Road |
Great Weapon Master | Feat | On Amethar's turn, when he scores a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduces a creature to 0 hit points with one, he can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action. Also, before he makes a melee attack with a heavy weapon that he is proficient with, he can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, he adds an additional 2d6 to the attack’s damage. (Changed from the original +10 bonus) | Episode 2: Ambush on the Sucrosi Road |
Reckless Attack | Barbarian Level 2 | Amethar can throw aside all concern for defense to attack with fierce desperation. When he makes his first attack on his turn, he can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives him advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against him have advantage until his next turn. | Episode 6: Chaos in the Cathedral |
Second Wind | Fighter Level 1 | Amethar has a limited well of stamina that he can draw on to protect himself from harm. On his turn, he can use a bonus action to regain hit points equal to 1d10 + his fighter level. Once he uses this feature, he must finish a short or long rest before he can use it again. | Episode 9: Safe Harbor |
Action Surge | Fighter Level 2 | Amethar can push himself beyond his normal limits for a moment. On his turn, he can take one additional action. Once he uses this feature, he must finish a short or long rest before he can use it again. | Episode 10: Blood & Bread |
Combat Superiority | Battle Master Level 3 | Amethar learns three maneuvers of his choice. Many maneuvers enhance an attack in some way. He can use only one maneuver per attack. These maneuvers are fuelled by superiority dice. He has four superiority dice, which are d8s. A superiority die is expended when he uses it. He regains all of his expended superiority dice when he finishes a short or long rest. | Episode 12: Rescue at Buzzybrook |
Riposte | Class (Fighter: Battlemaster) | When a creature misses Amethar with a melee attack, he can use his reaction and expend one superiority die to make a melee weapon attack against the creature. If he hits, he adds the superiority die to the attack's damage roll. | Episode 12: Rescue at Buzzybrook |
Maneuvering Attack | Class (Fighter: Battlemaster) | When Amethar hits a creature with a weapon attack, he can expend one superiority die to maneuver one of his comrades into a more advantageous position. He adds the superiority die to the attack's damage roll, and he chooses a friendly creature who can see or hear him. That creature can use its reaction to move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks from the target of Amethar's attack. | Episode 12: Rescue at Buzzybrook |
Danger Sense | Barbarian Level 2 | Amethar has an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren’t as they should be, giving him an edge when he dodges away from danger. He has advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that he can see, such as traps and spells. To gain this benefit, he can’t be blinded, deafened, or incapacitated. | Never used |
