Krom's Diner is described as being a glowing neon and Formica temple to comfort food and 24-hour a day service. It is a very standard American diner. Just inside is a gumball machine full of colorful candy that takes copper pieces instead of quarters. There are many red-lined booths for patrons to sit at while they eat.
The diner serves crullers and knishes, as well as milkshakes and some variety of Dwarven stew.
History[]
The Bad Kids plan to meet at the diner after the second day of school as they follow clues to Johnny Spells. Penelope Everpetal had told them that Johnny hangs out with his gang at the Arkon Gas Station and Garage, which is right across from the diner. The party orders milkshakes from the waitress, Yandi, and they survey the scene.
From their booth in the diner, they can see that the tiefling gang is going into a dance studio. Adaine asks Yandi about the garage, who tells her about the "boys" who hang out there. They're a little "rough and tumble", and dance menacingly at anyone who challenges their turf. They're very good dancers who practice very often, though it's unclear if their dance is magical or purely theatrical before they beat people up.
In addition to Yandi, Daisy Cubby also works at Krom's Diner.
