Amangeaux was married to the late King Cardoon of Vegetania. After his passing, she is unsure of what her status is.
History[]
Relationships[]
King Cardoon[]
The now deceased king of Vegetania, of which there is little information.
Karna Solara[]
In the beginning the pair appeared to be very good friends, though it is still unclear how exactly a Queen and a child-spy came to be so. They bitterly parted ways after a heated discussion about the plan to have Lady Amangeaux marry Tomaté. Karna had already essentially promised Tomaté that the marriage would be done, but after the shocking revelation of Queen Pamelia of Candia being the target of the assassination plot sanctioned by the Fellowship of Destiny's Architects/Sanctus Putris, Lady Amangeaux no longer prioritized maintaining high political status and instead was determined to flee with her child to keep him safe, much to Karna's dismay.
Bishop Raphaniel Charlock[]
A Bishop of the church and for years kept Queen Amangeaux in good company, and then in comfort after her husband's passing. Lady Amangeaux left him a letter the night she fled with her child, but kept no further contact until they reuinited some years later in battle. They still appear to be friendly with one another, if not also mutually suspicious of each other's true motives.
Her yet-unnamed Son, presumably now of House Uvano[]
Amangeaux's wine grape son, bore in secret, the product of a one-night affair with fellow noble Van Pinnonoir while her husband was dying. She fled to Fructera right after the assassination of Queen Pamelia of Candia and kept him hidden in a secret location under the protection of Fructerans that are loyal to the House Du Peche, the Pomegranas. Eventually she realized she couldn't maintain their solitude at this safehouse forever, and convinced Gustavo Uvano to take in the child and have him raised as a relative of house Uvano. She becomes a soldier in the Fructeran army, quietly pushing for alliance between Fructera and Candia to make amends for her violent not-so-distant past.

Trivia[]
- Amangeaux's given name is a French-style modification of and play on her species, mango. Coincidentally, the Norman word mangeux (stemming from mangi, "to eat") means "eater". Epicée is a form of the French épicé, meaning "spicy". Peche comes from the French pêche, meaning "peach", and is similar to peché, meaning "sin".
- Anjali Bhimani said in her takeover of Dimension 20's Instagram that with how she spelled "Amangeaux", if French pronunciation rules were followed, it would be pronounced slightly different; she decided that Amangeaux in-character decided to pronounce it that way, as she also pronounces her own name - "Anjali" - slightly different than how it would be pronounced in Sanskrit.
