Abilities[]

Ability Source Details First Appearance
Hexblade's Curse Hexblade Warlock Level 1 As a bonus action, Leiland chooses one creature he can see within 30 feet. The target is cursed for 1 minute. The curse ends early if the target dies, Leiland dies, or he is incapacitated. Until the curse ends, he gains the following benefits: he gains a bonus equal to his proficiency bonus to damage rolls against the cursed target; any attack roll he makes against the cursed target is a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20; if the cursed target dies, he regains hit points equal to his warlock level + his Charisma modifier. Leiland can’t use this feature again until he finishes a short or long rest. Episode 2: Volcano of Violence
Thirsting Blade Warlock Eldritch Invocation Leiland can attack with his pact weapon twice, instead of once, whenever he takes the Attack action on your turn. Episode 2: Volcano of Violence
Devil Sight Warlock Eldritch Invocation Leiland can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Relentless Hex Warlock Eldritch Invocation Leiland's curse creates a temporary bond between him and his target. As a bonus action, he can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space he can see within 5 feet of the target cursed by his Hex spell or by a warlock feature, such as Hexblade’s Curse and the hex spell. To teleport in this way, he must be able to see the cursed target. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Armor of Hexes Hexblade Warlock level 10 If the target cursed by Leilands Hexblade’s Curse hits him with an attack roll, he can use his reaction to roll a d6. On a 4 or higher, the attack instead misses, regardless of its roll. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Accursed Specter Hexblade Warlock level 6 When Leiland slays a humanoid, he can cause its spirit to rise from its corpse as a specter. When the specter appears, it gains temporary hit points equal to half his warlock level. He rolls initiative for the specter, which has its own turns. It obeys his verbal commands, and it gains a special bonus to its attack rolls equal to his Charisma modifier. The specter remains in Leiland's service until the end of his next long rest, at which point it vanishes to the afterlife. Once he binds a specter with this feature, he can't use the feature again until he finishes a long rest. Episode 6: The Tomb of Ultimate Evil
Lifedrinker Warlock Eldritch Invocation When you hit a creature with your pact weapon, the creature takes extra necrotic damage equal to your Charisma modifier. Episode 6: The Tomb of Ultimate Evil

Spells[]

Spell Spell Level Source Details First Appearance
Circle of Death 6th Warlock Mystic Arcanum A sphere of negative energy ripples out in a 60-foot-radius sphere from a point within 150 feet. Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw. A target takes 8d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. When he casts this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 2d6 for each slot level above 6th. Episode 2: Volcano of Violence
Armor of Agythys 1st Warlock A protective magical force surrounds Leiland, manifesting as a spectral frost that covers him and his eqipment. He gains 5 temporary hit points for the duration. If a creature hits him with a melee attack while he has these hit points, the creature takes 5 cold damage. When he casts this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, both the temporary hit points and the cold damage increase by 5 for each slot. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Cone of Cold 5th Warlock A blast of cold air erupts from Leiland's hands. Each creature in a 60-foot cone must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 8d8 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature killed by this spell becomes a frozen statue until it thaws. When he casts this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Darkness 2nd Warlock Magical darkness spreads from a point Leiland chooses within 60 feet to fill a 15-foot-radius sphere for 10 minutes (or until concentration is broken). The darkness spreads around corners. A creature with darkvision can't see through this darkness, and nonmagical light can't illuminate it. If the point he chooses is on an object you are holding or one that isn't being worn or carried, the darkness emanates from the object and moves with it. Completely covering the source of the darkness with an opaque object, such as a bowl or a helm, blocks the darkness. Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Chill Touch Cantrip Warlock Leiland creates a ghostly, skeletal hand in the space of a creature within 120 feet. He makes a ranged spell attack against the creature to assail it with the chill of the grave. On a hit, the target takes 3d8 necrotic damage (as Leiland is above level 11), and it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn. Until then, the hand clings to the target.

If he hits an undead target, it also has disadvantage on attack rolls against him until the end of his next turn.

Episode 4: Airship Ambush
Cause Fear 1st Warlock Leiland awakens the sense of mortality in one creature he can see within 60 feet. A construct or an undead is immune to this effect. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of him until the spell ends. The frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. When he casts this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when he targets them. Episode 6: The Tomb of Ultimate Evil
Finger of Death 7th Warlock Mystic Arcanum Leiland sends negative energy coursing through a creature that he can see within 60 feet, causing it searing pain. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. It takes 7d8 + 30 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A humanoid killed by this spell rises at the start of his next turn as a zombie that is permanently under his command, following his verbal orders to the best of its ability. Episode 6: The Tomb of Ultimate Evil
