Elizabeth "Liz" Herrera is the District Attorney for the Unsleeping City, as well as the ex-wife and current girlfriend of Kingston Brown.

Liz and Kingston met and fell in love in their 30s, however when he decided to share the Unsleeping City with Liz and break the Umbral Arcana, her life changed forever.
Due to Kingston's duties as the Vox Populi taking up much of his time, their relationship became strained, with Liz wanting to move out of New York, for Kingston to gain his doctorate, etc. Eventually the relationship fell apart, both parties scarred.
She became the DA for the Unsleeping City, something that she was frustrated about as she was on track to the DA of the Waking World. Liz appears to regret Kingston's decision to reveal the Unsleeping City to her as she feels that she cannot live a normal life anymore.
The Unsleeping City[]
As of Faeries and Feces, Liz was attacked by Robert Moses' forces, attempting to hurt Kingston and to stop him from fighting by hurting the people he cares about. She was in critical condition in St. Owens Hospital where Kingston attempted to heal her, many members of the party joining in to help in this.
