Mac and Donna Applebees are the parents of Kristen Applebees and her three brothers Bucky, Bricker, and Cork Applebees. They are extremely devout followers of Helio and very conservative religious fanatics.

Description[]
Both are human paladins. Donna is a thickset woman who wears a short-sleeved "mom shirt", shorts, and hiking boots.
They believe in everything in the book of Helio and at the start of the campaign, seem to be very proud of their daughter, Kristen and her devoutness to the Corn God. Although, the couple is often shown to be very close-minded when it comes to others, believing that the diversity in Elmville makes life difficult for them. When Kristen chastises them for this, Donna defends herself by saying that she hasn't read the book as close and Kristen has and doesn't know as much. Kristen thinks it's a flimsy excuse.

The Beginning Begins[]
Donna appears in Kristen's room before her first day at school at Aguefort Adventuring Academy. She yells at her trouble-making sons before warning Kristen she'll be late for school. She tries to convince Kristen one last time that there's still time to go to Sun Peak to study under the monks there, but she refuses. She tells her mother she wants to "rub shoulders with real people", to which she protests with some rather racist remarks. She tries to defend herself, saying she hasn't read the bible as close as Kristen has, but Kristen thinks that's a weak excuse. Her dad walks in just as she mentions how she hopes she doesn't have one human friend, which scandalizes them.They drive Kristen to school on her first day in the family's station wagon, where she pulls a crayon out of Cork's nose, and Mac expresses that he's not worried about her at all.
After the Afterlife[]
Mac and Donna pick Kristen up at school after the battle against Doreen and the Corn Ooze. Kristen tells them that she died and met Helio, which excites them. Kristen explains that she's got some questions after meeting Helio, though, and asks if they can stop at the bookstore on the way home. Her parents think she means the church, but Kristen clarifies that she needs books that explain other religions as well. They are not pleased.
It is later revealed that Mac and Donna have connections to the Harvestmen, raising their children on cult literature and bringing them to the Harvest Festival.

Not All Who Wanda Are Lost[]
On the first day of Junior Year they are dropping off Bucky for his first day of school. Kristen runs into them for the first time in year, having a tense conversation with them.

- Their first names could be a reference to McDonalds, similar to their last name being a reference to the Applebees restaurant.
