Mario Bicicleta is the brother of Sofia Bicicleta. He is a failed designer whose fashion line went down in flames. He has also been awakened into the Unsleeping City.

Description[]
He lives on Staten Island with Sofia and is shown to have a close relationship with their Mother. It is also implied that he is Catholic and regularly attends church, since he comments on how Sofia no longer goes.
Background[]
At some point in the past, Mario was a fashion designer who had a line of clothing in which alligator skin was either used as a base of inspiration, or was heavily incorporated. It "went down in flames" and failed, as alligator skin was no longer popular as a trend, though Mario believed since fashion trends are cyclical, it could make a comeback.
Mario was also in league with Robert Moses.

Start Spreading the News[]
Mario is first introduced as he enters Sofia's salon as she (messily) attends to a customer. Her distress about her husband, Dale Lee, leaving her for Isabella Infierno causes her to completely screw up the customer's hair, which Mario comments on as he walks in. Sofia bristles and insults his failed fashion line. When the two calm down, Mario tells Sofia that he's there to invite her to dinner at some point on behalf of their mother, Maria Bicicleta. It's an olive branch, and when Sofia agrees, Mario suggests that Sunday. Sofia asks if Sunday means she's gonna get guilted for not going to church, and they begin to bicker again about her family's disapproval of Dale. Before things get too heated again, Mario leaves.
Pigeon Plus Ones[]
Mario opens the closet that Sofia is hiding in at the wedding of Angela Confetti and Ronald Pigeon. He asks what Sofia sees and she lies saying she can see Central Park and a Toyota Camry. He then grabs a bag, looks at Don Confetti who does not look back, and leaves saying he will see Sofia later. Sofia then chases after him and confronts him about his dealings with Confetti. He says he will tell her later and then leaves.
