Episodes Featuring Mira
Neverafter

Description[]

Despite being born a mermaid princess, Mira is transformed into a human woman. However, walking is incredibly difficult as each step feels like she's walking on knives. Initially mute, the Sea Witch, Alba Mac Lir ultimately gives Mira back her voice. However, being human, she can no longer breathe underwater.

History[]

After falling in love with a human prince, Alba Mac Lir transformed Mira into a human in exchange for her voice. This enabled her to go to land and have the prince potentially fall in love with her. After the prince rejected Mira, the witch gave Mira's sisters a knife to kill the prince in exchange for their hair. She had done this because the prince's great grandfather had wronged her, and she wanted revenge. (She couldn't carry out the revenge herself due to fey protections on the prince's house.) Mira was given the knife, but refused to kill her prince because she still loved him even though he did not love her.

Cinderella first tells Sleeping Beauty about Mira's presence, and the fact that she is needed to join their sisterhood of princesses against the fairies. When Destiny's Children find her, she is hiding on the beach of Toy Island from her father. Due to Rosamund falling into the water when they arrived, the Mer-King (who had set up a magic alert triggered by a princess touching the water) finds Mira, and attempts to forcibly take her home. However, his plan is thwarted by the arrival of Il Terribile Pescecane, a battle which the sea witch arrives. After a long talk, the Mira and Alba reconcile, and joins the group to meet up with the other princesses. When they arrive in Snowhold, Mira promptly goes off to rest.

The Trials of Baba Yaga[]

When Destiny's Children arrive with Baba Yaga in the Lines Between, they find that Mira, along with the rest of the Daughters of the Crown, have already arrived.

The Ending of All Things (Part 1)[]

Pinocchio is able to see that Mira is only part of the fight with the Princesses because they were the first people to tell her they had answers to the pain of their stories. Pinocchio then reveals to her that, though the power of Mother Timothy Goose's book, they have the ability to give everyone the power over their own stories and destinies. He then tells her that she doesn't have to fight the Princesses, but implores her not to fight against them. Stating, "I don't want my story to end here," she steps next to Pinocchio, and joins Destiny's Children's side in the fight, riding the transformed Ylfa into the battle.

The Ending of All Things (Part 2)[]

Once the Conclave of Fairies arrives to the Canonade, the Wicked Fairy attacks Mira, knocking her unconscious. She is revived by a goodberry from Tom Thumb. However, she later falls again by the force of being in the presence of the Authors' hand, and later dies.

Trivia[]

  • Her mini was sold during the Dimension 20 Neverafter auction for $1,869.
