Description

Morgan wears a dark charcoal grey cloak. Her eyes have neither irises or pupils, but glow a radiant milky white light that she can use like personal search lights. Her hair is a dull blonde. On her armor, she wears a huge red pendant of the sun, and carries a giant sword at her side. She also uses a magical spear in battle. She has a pair of ash and soot covered wings that she uses to fly with.

Background

Morgan is the "Glorious Inquisitor of the Glaring Sun;" a witch hunter who has been searching for Gertrude without success. In one of her closest encounters, she had come to the town of Harper inquiring about Gertrude. However, in exchange for information on the whereabouts of some family treasure, the witch was warned by Johan Trembly of Morgan's presence in the town. This allowed Gertrude to escape the inquisitor's clutches.

History

The Time Has Come

When the Questing Queens arrive at the Tower of Tombs, they find Zaria Hex and her armies already there. Zaria addresses her minions says, "The time has come," explaining that their mission is "so close" to completion. SHe then tells them to listen to her allies as they would her. At the introduction, two figures join her. One of them is Morgan. She addresses the undead crowd saying, while she wouldn't normally work with a Queen of Death, but she has this time because she needs help finding Gertrude. As a servant of the God of the Sun, she feels Gertrude's immortality is blasphemous against the forces of life and death. She knows that Gertrude is currently in the Underworld, and asks them to help her catch the witch. However, Morgan doesn't want them to try and destroy her. She has long dreamed of catching someone so wicked to be cast into the fires of Hell to burn forever. She then proceeds to extends her wing, and flies around, her glowing eyes acting as search lights through the crowd.

Much later, when the Queens arrive in Thanara's throne room and request a boon from the goddess, she muses that good news, while she normally only grants three boons, she's feeling generous, and is willing to grant four. However, the bad news is, there are eight mortals present. Four more mortals comes out from behind Thanara's throne, including Morgan. The goddess continues that she hasn't granted anyone's boons yet, and doesn't plan on doing so before "the show:" a fight to the death.

In the Heart of Death

During the final battle, Gertrude shoots an three rays of fire towards the witch hunter who has been persuing her all these years, hitting her twice in the chest. As the flames lick her cheeks, Morgan looks to her attacker, musing that she will soon be seeing plenty of the fires of hell. She sets the flame of her spear alight. However, Troyánn's earlier Gust of Wind had hit Keena, and, while she tried to catch herself with her Canolin Hook of Death, she is ultimately swept into the abyss, calling to Morgan for help. Hearing the cries of her falling comrade, the winged inquisitor flies to the falling Keena, and brings her back to safety. Gertrude then continues the assault. The heat building up from her pores, she releases an enormous fireball on the flying/falling duo. While Morgan tries to protect Keena with her wings, it hits them full force, causing blood to drip from their scorched noses. However, she is able to fly Keena to the platform with Princess, dropping the her off next to the orc.

Later, Morgan is the last of her party standing (or flying in this case) against the Questing Queens. Morgan raises her hands to the group, and calling upon the power of the ever-gazing sun, a ray of burning light blasts from the tip of her spear towards them. However, Gertrude, safe on another platform, casts a counterspell, and, combined with Troyánn's Deep Bank of Concealing Fog concealing the Queens, blasts back the magic to hit Morgan instead. Twyla then flies up to meet the witch hunter. She shoots one of her longbow arrows at the flying inquisitor, Morgan swatting it away with her spear. Twyla then responds, "You ready, bitch? 'Cause I'm about to get you." With a yell and a purr, she releases another arrow. This one hits its target. In a cry of anguish, Morgan's body bursts into light, and vanishes.
