Megan Mirror finds Mothman in the parking lot of the university staring at the sun, which seems to give him a sort of high. She offers him a fermented blueberry drink which makes him extremely drunk because he is a bug, and attempts to find a nurse to help him. He spends the rest of the day very inebriated.

Megan gives Mothman an alcoholic fermented blueberry concoction on the first day back at Bram University, causing him to become extremely drunk and inspiring a fascination with fermentation for him. Mothman also develops a crush on Megan, and although Megan turns him down Mothman takes it very well and they continue their friendship.
