Nod, also referred to as "The Gray Orphan/Baby" is the monarch of the Sixth Borough, which is the realm of dreams.

Appearance[]
Nod appears like a young child, with gray skin, black hair and completely black eyes. Their gender is unknown or does not exist. They wear a long, desaturated blue dress, and they sometimes carry a lantern.
Personality[]
Despite appearing like a child, Nod is very well spoken and intelligent. They rule over the land of dreams and enjoy whimsy but are generally calm, soft spoken and even tempered, although they despise being referred to as a baby. They are very fond of Pete, having chosen him for the position of Vox Phantasma, and seem to look to him as a sort of older brother figure.

Pete Conlan[]
Nod regrets that they could not talk to Pete before selecting him as the Vox Phantasma, leaving him confused and struggling to figure out his powers on his own. However, due to his eventual mastery of his powers and his willingness to stand up to others (like Robert Moses) in order to protect the Sixth Borough, they overall believe they "chose right". They love him very much, and are always excited and happy to see him.
