The Fall of New York City[]

Officer Brunson is first introduced as Cody Walsh stands outside a closed Queens Center Mall throwing ninja stars at the smiling faces on the posters for Gladiator's new corporate campus. He confiscates Cody's buster sword and warns him that he shouldn't be carrying his weapons around in public. He doesn't find Cody threatening.

Parade of Peril[]

At the Macy's Parade, Cody throws his drink as Gladiator's float passes by. Behind him, off-duty and in plain clothes, is Officer Brunson, who gives his siren a quick chirp to catch Cody off guard. Kingston Brown quickly steps in before he starts any trouble. With the help of his presence as Vox Populi, Brunson is intimidated into leaving.
