Oisin Hakinvar is a junior year wizard student at Aguefort Adventuring Academy and member of the Rat Grinders.

Description[]
Oisin is a tall dragonborn that has conjuration glyphs tattooed into his scales, which help him with concentration during spellcasting. He has a spellbook holstered on his belt.
Background[]
Oisin has been a member of the Rat Grinders since his freshman year, although he looked much different back then as he got buff in the summer before junior year. He is a conjuration wizard, specifically a summoner specialist. Despite them having a class together at one point, Adaine doesn't remember him due to all the chaos surrounding their first year.
Oisin is also the great-great-great-great-great-grandson of a blue dragon, who is said to live atop a hoard of treasure.

Party Politics[]
Oisin meets Adaine at Fabian's party, where she gives him a drink whilst he's playing beer pong. They talk about the material components required for wizard class, where Oisin says he gets all the barrels of diamonds from his ancestor. He offers to give Adaine some of his leftover diamonds, which she rejects. Once she leaves, he is unable to make a shot, flinging ping-pong balls around the manor. Later on, the Bad Kids learn that he is a member of the Rat Grinders by looking at an old yearbook.

Aelwyn reports that Kipperlilly had said she couldn't use Oisin to get the material components she was using Aelwyn for, as she had to "protect him". Aelwyn notes it could be to avoid the possibility of him being expelled.

He messages Adaine to apologise for the behaviour of his friends.
The Last Stand[]
Kristen saw Oisin's hand pull Kipperlilly away in a Plane Shift spell after Kipperlilly murdered Buddy Dawn.
The Name[]
While The Bad Kids are searching through Ruben Hopclap's house, Adaine finds Oisin's wizard's tower. In the tower, she finds a picture of his great-great-great-great-great grandmother hanging out with Kalvaxus. She also finds notes on how to telekinetically write spells on the inside of spheres. Later, when the joint birthday and voting party is beginning at Seacaster Manor, all throughout the manor ping-pong balls hidden by Oisin begin to glow. They are each lit with a rune summoning the Nightmare King to the location as Seacaster Manor rises into the sky.
Ragenarock (Part 2)[]
Following the restoration of Ankarna proper, Oisin is brought back to life, along with the rest of the High-Five Heroes, save for Kipperlilly and Buddy Dawn. He is resurrected at the same time as Ivy Embra, both having remembered everything they did under the influence of rage.
Trivia[]
- Oisin is the first actual dragonborn in Fantasy High, as Vice Principal Goldenhoard was secretly a red dragon bound to humanoid form.
