Orlando and Rovias

Orlando and Rovias are a pair of stone lion statues outside the Public Library in New York City. They are the guardians of the Gramercy Occult Society. The two of them are shown to have a desire to make people complete puzzles and riddles before entering, but are typically unsuccessful in doing so. They operate a secret door that leads into the Gramercy Occult Society.

Background[]

In Start Spreading the News, one of the lions says that they both "always lie." The two of them also had a vocal coach come by per Misty's recommendation, and they have been working on their voices.

Orlando and Rovias are boyfriends.

In Season 1 Episode 3 (Pigeon Plus Ones), one of the lions states "...my brother always lies" which implies that the two are brothers. However, this may be attributed to the fact that whichever lion said it is the one that always lies.

When Robert Moses begins his assault on the Gramercy Occult Society, the two lions defend the structure. However, one of them is destroyed. This is undone by the time of Season 2.
