Description[]
"Okay, I'm Penny Luckstone. Penny is three feet tall. She's a halfling, a lightfoot halfling, a rogue. She is pressed as much as she can be. I think she's been trapped here the longest, but like everything originally looked like it was very well ironed and she's trying really hard not to get it smudged. She's a little type A and yeah, I asked for my chains to be tightened 'cause I didn't like the slack, it was too loose." ― Becca Scott
History[]
Penny is the oldest of 20 children born to Bonnie and Danny Luckstone. They all live in a house together that is a combination of chaos and order, because you can't have that many children without chaos or keep them all in line without some kind of order. The order is partly maintained by rogue traps and contraptions that are built into the house. Penny is the only one of her siblings who does not go to Mumple.
Fantasy High[]
Penny is first shown in Cool Kids, Cold Case when she comes to Riz in a dream, warning him that, "the time is coming and it's worse than you think."
In Arcade Ambush Riz is trapped in a palimpsest and talks to Penny in her adjacent palimpsest before she is downloaded with the other kidnapped girls.
She is a part of the Maidens adventuring party who were chained at the mouth of Kalvaxus's lair and saved by Sandra Lynn. She also helps the other Maidens kill Kalvaxus a second time.
The specific of Penny's disappearance are unknown however it is known that she was the first one to be captured, and we can infer from Penelope's conversation with Sam in the bathroom in Episode 1 and her conversation with Fabian and Fig in Episode 3 that she was close to (and possibly even dating) Johnny Spells and disappeared in a similar way to Sam Nightingale (being trapped in a palimpsest by Johnny and his gang for the Harvestmen) with Sam and Penelope either helping or just being aware with it which is why they speak about Penny in Episode 1 and why Penelope is so worried about Sam in Episode 3.
The Seven[]
At the start of The Seven, she is a senior at Aguefort Adventuring Academy.
The Fan[]
Penny's fan is white with a pink and purple flower design.
Trivia[]
- Penny gets her last name from a real magical stone, which the family still owns. The original "Luckstone" is an extremely lucky three ton boulder just outside the Luckstones' front door.[1]
- Brennan posted Penny's character sheet on his Twitter as a reward for reaching the 250 voter registrations milestone during CollegeHumor's Voter Registration Drive.[1] However, as of The Seven, the character sheet is no longer accurate.[2]
- Penny has 19 siblings and a real desperation to people-please.[3]
