Description[]
Belizabeth is a beautiful middle-aged woman with coiffed hair. She wears an incredible gown of green and white with a huge Elizabethan ruff around her neck like a halo.
Background[]
Before the Ravening War, she was only a Bishop. The last time Chancellor Lapin Cadbury met her before present day, she was still an Archbishop and Primogen. Sometime after that, she was appointed as the Hierophant Rex of the church.
History[]
The Ravening War[]
The Seeds of Conflict[]
The bishop arrives in Comida along with Archbishop Camille Colliflour during the Festival of Saint Eggamere. The bishop and Archbishop are first introduced to the audience during the ball being held at the Cornucopian Hall: Camille goes into a coughing fit while attempting to greet those in attendence, which inevitably requires Belizabeth to announce the greeting on her behalf.
Later, when Count Jacques Tomaté claims his right to the crown, Belizabeth is present with Colliflour when she states Tomaté's claim to the Vegetanian throne aren't legitmate, and that House Cabbage has the right to choose the rightful King of Vegetania instead.
The Heart of the World[]
After succeeding Archbishop Camille Colliflour as leader of the Bulbian Church, Brassica finds the research of Archdeacon Raphaniel Charlock, the fanatical scratches of one obsessed with things like the Ramsian Doctrine, the Prophidian Heresy, and the threat posed by the Sanctus Putris. That knowledge combined with the elimination of The Fellowship of Destiny's Architects causes her to rise through the ranks to that of Pontifex of the Bulbian Church. She also discovers Charlock's role in ensuring King Arthur Cardoon's lack of heir, and how, in doing so, it would likely result in war.
A Crown of Candy[]
Keep Sharp[]
Pontifex Brassica is first introduced as she arrives in Comida for the Grand Tournament with the rest of the Vegetanian convoy. She rides in the largest carriage, which is decorated with a huge symbol of the shining Bulb. She steps out with Archbishop Oliver Onionpatch, and speaks to the crowd, who bows before her, blessing them on this, the eve of Saint Turnipat. She nods to Chancellor Lapin Cadbury.
She tells him she heard the news that they'd been attacked on the road, and commends his miracle-working, as only one as devout as him could have ensured everyone's survival. She says she's on her way to pay respects to the Concordant Emperor in the Great Pyramid of Food and invites him along. Lapin accepts.
Lapin's Big Day[]
Pontifex Brassica summons Lapin to the Arugula Temple, where she is furious that Lapin had led the arrest of Primogen Alfredi, concerned about the reputational damage to the Bulbian Church. She is very derisive of the Conchord, preferring to deal with matters using the church's internal systems. She believes presenting this united front is critical to the respect and power the church maintains over Calorum. She demands that Lapin consider whether his alliance is to Candia, or the Bulbian Church, to which Lapin declares that he swears his loyalty to the bulb.
Chaos in the Cathedral[]
It is supposed to be the trial of Liam, but given the death of the Emperor, she instead switches it to declaration of the new Emperor. After a multiple people are nominated, she brings out the Book of Leaves to compel the truth - she uses the power of the book to compel the truth from Lady Plumbeline Uvano about who her father declared as his successor, but uses it to compel King Amethar to admit to his previous marriage. With this information, Brassica declares Amethar's marriage void, the princesses bastards, and Candia in violation of the Concord and thus at war with the states of the Concord instead.
She is promptly stabbed by the Princess Jet for this declaration of war.
Family Ties[]
Looking over intel gathered from Sir Keradin's belonging in the village of Buzzybrook, the Pontifex has called a holy crusade on Candia because she has reinstituted the Ramsian Doctrine as an official church doctrine and Ceresia, Fructera, and Vegetania are taking part is destroying the heretics and standing stone. She has also given Sir Keradin the new title of Mace of the Faith as he leads the crusade.

Trivia[]
- Her last name, "brassica", is the scientific name for broccoli.
- Brennan mentioned in an episode of Adventuring Party that many NPC names are a roast on George R.R. Martin, the author of Game of Thrones and the A Song of Ice and Fire series, for how un-creative his character names are. For example, Belizabeth's name is simply "Elizabeth" with a B stuck in front, not unlike "Eddard Stark" (Edward except the W is a D), and "Robb Stark" (Rob but with two Bs).
- Her mini was sold as part of the Dimension 20 A Crown Of Candy Auction for $2,001.
