"You might've read about me. Puck, Robin Goodfellow, 'if we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended'?" ― Bobby Goodfellow

Puck, also known as Bobby Goodfellow, is the herald of the Unseelie.

Episodes Featuring Puck/Bobby
The Unsleeping City

Description[]

As Bobby Goodfellow, Puck appears as a man with purple eyes, elven ears, and coifed hair wearing a beautiful navy colored camel hair peacoat. When the glamour of Bobby Goodfellow fades, Puck is a tiny little butterfly-winged goat satyr boy. He has fuzzy ears and wears a wineskin that hangs around his bare chest.

Like other fae creatures, Puck is a bit of a trickster and does a great bit where he pretends to be a stool and then whips himself away at the last minute. He is also unafraid to flirt sexually with Misty Moore.

History[]

Borough of Dreams[]

Puck is first introduced as a stranger in Glamour. He approaches Misty Moore and Kingston Brown with two Lucky Charms absinthe shots and introduces himself as Bobby Goodfellow. When Misty begins to ask if he's related to Robin Goodfellow, she recognizes him-- its a different form, but he has the same eyes. Puck lets his glamour fall to reveal his true appearance and lets her know he was the one who delivered the mirror to her apartment, on Lord Oberon's orders. They gossip about the ever-complicated relationship between Titania and Lord Oberon, and he warns Misty that Titania is coming for her, as she owes centuries worth lot of glamour, which Misty refutes, claiming that she gets her glamour from the bridge and tunnel people of New York who come to see her shows. Puck leaves it up to her: if she wants to throw in her lot with the mortals, who aren't long for this world, that's her call, and he leaves as Kingston begins to protest.

Faeries and Feces[]

At the Faerie Conclave at FAO Schwarz, Puck greets Misty and asks what she'd like to be called now that she's taken a new form. For the first time, she introduces herself as Rowan. They compliment each other on how good they each look, and Puck invites Rowan out for drinks, after their business at the conclave has been settled, of course.

The three groups present at the conclave offer their own solutions: Aquamarine, the Seelie representative, asks for the crown to be returned to the Seelie, and New York to be re-founded as the Seelie court with Rowan as its sole monarch; Puck requests the crown to be turned over to the Unseelie in exchange for three boons from Lord Oberon, and acknowledgement and recognition of New York as its own realm; and the clock gnomes of Grand Central Terminal offer to reshape the crown and found a new Fae court in New York.

Rowan scoffs at Puck's offer of a mere three boons for an immortal such as herself, to which Puck calls her a parasitic vampire who feeds off the hope and joy of her fans. He calls into question if she's fully Seelie. Nod refutes his claim and shows the parties present that Rowan, as Misty, has inspired countless mortals across the country with her performances. She hasn't taken more than she's given as her fans have had their hearts enlarged and their lives enriched through the act of their devotion to her.

While each of the parties present vote on what they believe should be done with the Seelie Crown, Ricky Matsui asks what it means for the crown to be reshaped, and Puck explains that both the Seelie and the Unseelie have always been monarchies, since it's the nature of how they were formed. If the crown's new shape were to be used to form a new democratic realm, that's the business of whatever realm it ends up being.

When its revealed that the clock gnomes have won the vote, Puck accepts the result and lets Rowan know he's staying at the Plaza Hotel.

Hall of Heroes[]

When Rowan uses the Whispering Gallery to call on the fairies of the New York Court to help their fight against Robert Moses, Puck arrives in a Plaza bathroom, very clearly having been interrupted as he took a bath. Rowan fails to convince the fairies to go to Times Square on New Years Eve, but as she is the founder of the new New York Court, Bilbry says that they'll cut off the vampires in the financial district that are heading that direction. Puck follows them all out, still in his robe.
