The Queens Center Mall is one of the only true malls in New York City. Manhattan has so many shopping districts that a mall would never survive, but Queens has the perfect space and population density for the mall to end all malls. It is currently shuttered and slated for demolition.

The Queens Center Mall is a huge, resplendent mall that is currently boarded up for demolition. Hanging around the mall are signs as part of a huge public relations blitz for the new largest in the world, state of the art of Gladiator shipping and fulfillment campus. The signs depict happy, enterprising professionals and smiling people talking about the new Gladiator Campus. They advertise Gladiator dorms for people to live in the company structure, a food court for the employees living there, and a Gladiator payment card for the new Gladiator currency.
It included a Hot Topic, a PacSun, a Taco Bell, a Spencer's, a Zumiez, a McDonalds, and a Sears. The Spencer's closed first, then the Zumiez, and the PacSun. Hot Topic lasted up until the very end.
