Rekha Shankar has appeared in Dimension 20 as Maggie in Escape from the Bloodkeep, Daisy D'umpstaire in Mice & Murder, Katja Cleaver in The Seven and Usha Rao / G13 in Never Stop Blowing Up.
Career[]
Rekha was previously the head writer of Hardly Working at CollegeHumor. She frequently appears in sketches and shorts made by the company including Kingpin Katie, The Rank Room, and is a main character in the series Ultramechatron Team Go! She also acted as a co-host of the podcast Erotic Book Club. When Dropout.TV branched off from CollegeHumor, Rekha continued to contribute to the company producing the mockumentary series God of Food, and co-producer of Smartypants which she also hosts.
In addition to CollegeHumor, Rekha has written for Reductress and was a contributing producer for Clickhole. She also performs with UCB theater. Currently Rekha works as the executive story editor for Grand Crew and DIGMAN!.
As well as being a guest player on Dimension 20, Rekha is a main player of EffinFunny's DesiQuest. DMed by Jasmine Bhullar, DesiQuest is a D&D real-play show that focuses around Indian mythology. She plays the barbarian, Laddoo Auntie, alongside Anjali Bhimani, Omar Najam, and Sandeep Parikh.
