As the Dream Team is on their way to the Gramercy Occult Society at the New York Public Library to speak with Alejandro Ortiz, Pete the Plug, the new Vox Phantasma, suggests going for some dumplings with Kingston so they can talk a little bit more about magic and his new peppermint tooth. Near Columbus Circle, the crowd naturally moves around Kingston and creates a little pocket of privacy, where they encounter a rare dumpling cart.
Kingston greets the man running it, named Ricky, and compliments his new mustache, and Ricky mentions that his girlfriend likes the wax because she wants to fuck the Pringles guy. Pete orders some hot and sour pork dumplings, and he gives them huge, heaping plastic containers of dumplings with little spoons. Pete lights a blunt before digging in.
Ricky Matsui introduces himself as also being named Ricky, and the cart owner offers a single hot, wet dumpling into the palm of Ricky's hand. Ricky thanks him and eats it immediately. The party earns a short rest and replenishes 5 hit points from eating the dumplings.
