Background[]
In 1893, McCoy was on a train in the Alps, waiting for a meeting regarding his last job. McCoy had been hired by Virginia Chase to reclaim her family's stolen diadem. Detective Sylvester Cross and Daisy D'umpstaire had both separately tracked McCoy to this train and were planning to take the diadem from him.
While aboard the train, Daisy approached McCoy in an attempt to steal the diadem from him. She let slip that she knew his name without him telling her, which caused him to become suspicious and excuse himself. Daisy was able to snatch the diadem from him as he left.
