Escape from the Bloodkeep

Description[]
A gated passageway leads to The Bloodkeep, another up to clean air, and a third down to the forge at the base of a massive caldera, which is nevertheless only a small part of the massive sea of lava at the bottom of the volcano. According to John Feathers, it is "like a hundred and forty degrees in here".
Anvil[]
Kasara casts the spell to banish the Anvil.
At the forge is an anvil, which is an artifact gifted to Zaul'Nazh by Gogmoth: big, heavy, and covered in glowing green runes in the Midnight Tongue. It could forge soul matter and was used to create the original circles of eternal chains and the One Crown. After the destruction of the Crown of Shadows, Efink Murderdeath was given a vision of the anvil and when The Lieutenants traveled to it, they engaged in Battle. The anvil was targeted directly by Kasara the Beige, who unsuccessfully attempted to teleport it into the Nightmare Lands beyond the borders of the world.
Hours later, the anvil was destroyed after Avanash shoved it into the lava. He shortly followed the same destiny at the hands of the Lieutenants.
History[]
Sometime in the past, Gogmoth gifted a young Zaul'Nazh an anvil that could forge soul matter, which was then used to create the original circles of eternal chains and the One Crown. Zaul'Nazh' own existence relied on the continuing existence of this crown, which could only be destroyed in one place, here where it was created.
Drova Longfoot and Galfast Hamhead traveled all the way from Ruckland to throw the crown into the lava, thus destroying Zaul'Nazh.
Thirty minutes later, The Lieutenants battled against the forces of Light here, including Kasara the Beige, Telmeir the Calm, Percival, and a number of high elven warriors and were victorious.
Trivia[]
- The Scary Volcano is an analogue for Mount Doom in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
- The name appears to be a play on words, mimicking the scary chanting associated with Jason Voorhees.
